NY Rappers Shit On Biggie Tribute?

Busta Rhymes recently honored the death anniversary of Notorious B.I.G. with a tribute song titled “Marching 9”. The song featured nine NYC rappers including Busta of course along with a host of others ranging from M.O.P. to Maino to Uncle Murder. I am hearing though that while these other artists jumping on the track are appreciated, Busta was hoping for a little more of a response from more prominent NYC rappers.

Word is Busta tried to get at several big names including Jay-Z, Jim Jones, and Nas but all of them would not do the song. Either schedule conflicts or just plain out not answering the phone, it is coming out that Busta felt extremely disrespected and was disappointed in the lack of love his fellow NY MC’s were showing B.I.G. Jay in particular has always shouted out B.I.G. and pointed out that he was friends with the great rapper while he was still living, so this came as an extra shock. Word is Busta has been going around telling anyone that will listen about how these ‘big time’ dudes didn’t give a fuck about the Biggie tribute song. It also coming out that he is about to drop another song this time exposing some of the rappers who wouldn’t support the first tribute and talk about how different things would have been had B.I.G. never got murdered.

I must say if this is true, this is sad. To think of some of my favorite rappers not wanting to get on a song dedicated to the greatest rapper of all time is unsettling. We have to have a sense of respect and tradition in this thing we call hip hop. I wondered why it seemed like all new jacks and has-been’s on this tribute and now I know why…

Rick Ross Baby Mama Sex Tape?

Just when you thought it was over. 50 Cent is supposedly working on his next destructive move against The BOSS a.k.a. Rick Ross. In the first video with 50 taking Tia, Ross’ 1st baby mama, out shopping he also revealed that Ross’ 2nd baby mama is actually a prostitute named Brooke. To prove his point he held up the escort mag from which she solicits her ‘talents’.  Some good laughs were gotten out of it but that was about it.

Until now. It is coming out that 50 plans to release a sex tape of Brooke! Brooke supposedly already has a sex tape of her floating around out there and 50 is in the process of acquiring the ownership to it so that he can release it to the public. The tape shows Brooke and another man doing what grown folks do and I’m hearing it is a full blown porno with the messy ending and all.

This is some shit. When will Curtis ever stop? It seems like he gets bored for a minute with it, then comes right back even harder. Wonder how Ross is going to come back at him for this one…?

Pimpin Curly To The Big Screen?

This one is just crazy. We all have seen by now the 50 Cent “Pimpin Curly” web-isodes he has been dropping. He came up with the character of a greasy jheri-curl rocking pimp after Pimpin Ken and Rick Ross dissed him and called him Curly. Somehow the genius mind of 50 figured out how to make this into another power move and draw millions of more people into his site. Thus Pimpin Curly was born!

I am hearing though that this Pimpin Curly is about to get bigger than anyone ever expected. It has been going through the grapevine that 50 has been talking with Michael Bay, a big time movie producer, about bringing Pimpin Curly to the big screen in a full length feature film! Bay is responsible for such epics as Armageddon and Transformers, so you know he doesn’t fuck around. 50 and Bay have reportedly had phone convos and personal meetings for the past several days kicking around ideas on how this could work.
I’m a little iffy on this one. A Pimpin Curly movie? Could we really stand Curtis in that wig talking like that for an hour and a half? It would have to be very ‘engaging’ to say the least. If your not familiar with Curly check out the latest episode below…
