Love him or hate him DJ Khaled is everywhere. Videos, hit records, the magazines, you can’t escape him reminding you that “We The Best!”. Besides getting 20 rappers on one song, another one of Khaled’s jobs is as the resident DJ at Miami ‘s 99 Jamz, The Takeover Show. Recently Khaled let it be known that he is seeking an heir to his throne and the streets are buzzing with who might be taking that spot.
 
There are many big dogs in Miami when it comes to the DJ scene, both in the club and mixtape arenas. Papa Smirf, DJ Kronik, DJ Obscene, and DJ Entice are just a few of the most well known. However, many are betting it will be none of these guys and instead it will be a young kid by the name of Stevie J. Word is Stevie has been in all of Khaled’s last few videos and has been making a big name for himself through his mixtapes and clubdates. Khaled has been pretty mum on the specifics since he made the announcement that he was looking for a replacement DJ, but all arrows are pointing to Stevie J. LA The Darkman Running Scared?
 
DJ Drama has recently been in a little bit of beef with his former cohort Young Jeezy. If you remember, this led to an altercation between Drama’s camp and Jeezy’s camp at the recent Dirty Awards. Although Drama wasn’t present at that brawl, his main artist and also the A&R for his Apphiliates label, LA The Darkman, was present and spoke on the incident several times via internet and various radio shows. 
 
But who is the Darkman and where did he come from? Some troubling rumors are coming out about his past and the reasons why he is where he is now. First off we know LA The Darkman is not from ATL. He and his brother Willie The Kid were born in a small Michigan town, however LA relocated to NYC as a teen to pursue his rap dreams. This led to a short but sweet stint with the Wu-Tang Clan where LA even appeared on two compilation albums.
 
But here is where it gets deep. Apparently, the word is LA got into it somehow with some top mobsters up there and had to flee the city for fear of his life. That is why he is currently in ATL and how he came to work with Drama. The details are still sketchy but from what we hear the cause was the root of all evil, pussy. People are saying LA somehow got caught creeping with an underboss’s daughter who didn’t take kindly to his precious running around with dirty little rappers. LA was given an ultimatum, leave the city or lose your life. Looks like he made a good decision, huh?
 
Isn’t it ironic though, you leave your hometown to escape drama only to find yourself working for Drama. Life is funny sometimes huh? 

 
Scarface Goes To Detox? 
 
Recently Scarface made a lot of people sad when he let it be known that his latest album, Emeritus, would be his last. He said that he will continue to make and work on music but just not under the name Scarface. Well, my intel is saying that he is already at work making new music and it is for one of the most anticipated albums of all time. I’m talking none other than Dr. Dre’s mythical Detox album.
 
Sources say Face has been in LA for the past two weeks writing songs for Dre, and the work is going smoothly. Face would join Eminem and Brooklynite Joell Ortiz on the writing staff if this turns out to be true. I personally hope so because this Detox album is taking waaayyy too long. I’m feeling a little more confident it will live up to the hype now that Face is on board.

 
Chris Brown Cheats? 
 
We here at 24Hour have followed the love song of Chris Brown and Rihanna since the beginning. From there very first pics of kissing in the pool we have been on top of this situation and let you know what is going down. Well now some wild stories are coming out of the Hollywood hills that we have to let you in on.
 
Jamie Foxx is a well known partier in the Hollywood scene. Well people are saying Jamie is taking it one step further than most and actually has multi level orgy style sex parties at one of his cribs every now and then. Sources say on the second floor of the house you must take off your clothes and do the deed with whoever happens to be around.
 
Well now apparently people that were there at the last party say Chris Brown was in the building and stayed on the second floor all night long. The chatter is Chris was down there for over four hours and had the time of his life! Of course his boo Rihanna was nowhere in sight for these festivities and I’m sure if this is true, that was the point!
 
I don’t know about this one. It seems kind of foolish and risky on both sides. Jamie Foxx throwing Roman sex parties and Chris Brown risking his image by engaging in a four hour anonymous orgy is a bit much. This is what people are saying though and hey who knows, this is show business.
