T-Pain Goes Country?

He’s said before this industry is his circus. With the string of hits and accolades he’s received from both critics and his peers alike it is hard to argue that he is not holding a major spot in this game. Of course I’m talking about Mr. top hat man T-Pain. Well people are saying that Pain might be switching to a new ring in the circus and attempt to launch into the world of country music.

We’ve known Pain for being innovative with his music, and he has covered almost all the bases when it comes to this hip hop and R&B shit. His inner camp is said to be leaking the word to the press than Teddy Pain is getting bored and is seriously thinking about taking this leap to try something new.

Strangely enough it was in the rumor mill in the past that his boss, Akon, was also going to make this hee-haw move, but that never panned out. Could Pain be taking the reigns and taking care of this unfinished business?

In-Law Problems For Nelly?

Nelly and his main squeeze Ashanti have been together for a hot minute now.Throughout the years there has been rampant engagement and marriage rumors, though none proved to be true as we have seen. A few people are saying that the whole thing would of already been official with the two jumping the broom a long time ago had it been up to just the two of them.

So what’s the problem? Intel says it is actually Ashanti’s family who has stopped them from taking the final step and Nelly is getting close to the breaking point on it. Ashanti’s mother and father are notoriously known for being overprotective of their daughter and even though it has loosened up a little with her growing up, it appears marriage is still something they have control over her with. People close to the relationship say Nelly has proposed twice already but Ashanti’s parents always get to her ear and prevent it from going through.

Hopefully these two can get it together and keep others out of their business. Sometimes those closest to you can hurt you the most right? E-I , E-I!

Nas Preps Ether 2?

Ether. When it comes to hip hop beef and wars on wax this track says it all. When Nas put out this reply track to Jay-Z’s “The Takeover” many thought Jay could never recover in the streets. Well we saw that eventually wasn’t exactly true, and the two even went onto do big things together later in the future. However the word is now that Nas is preparing to launch the second spray of Ether on a few NYC rappers that have been keeping his name in their mouth quite often lately.

Nas recently did an NYC show in which he teased the crowd with a description of a new “Ether” track he is working on. Nas didn’t say exactly who he was going to be getting at but he did give several obvious clues. “tight pants, lyrically declined play-in-rappers.”, Nas said would be the ones to get it, which got many laughs out of the packed crowd.

Anyone with two brain cells could figure out that God’s Son was referring to Skull Gang/ Dipset/ Byrd Gang/ 7:30/ Purple City, and whatever the hell else wacky crew name they came up with recently leader, Jim Jones.Jim runs his mouth on Nas almost any chance he gets, calling him irrelevant and “boring”. Nas rarely retaliates but it looks like he is going to come extra hard with some stored up ammo. Stay tuned for more.
