The Clipse Go To Detox?

Virginia duo The Clipse are known just as well for their cocaine affiliation as they are for their clever rhymes about the street life and what to do with all that money. However I just got word this morning that the two may be checking into Detox or already have.

Of course I’m talking about the long awaited mythical Detox album from Dr. Dre. The album is said to be near completion after a decade and the finishing touches are now being put on it. The Clipse I’m hearing were called in  last weekend and instantly agreed to be a part of the project, writing for Dre. Other people known to be working on Detox are of course Eminem, 50 Cent, and others such as Jay-Z, and even Kanye West.

I’m not sure I even care about this album anymore. I’m just waiting for it to drop, if it ever will and that’s it. in any case though this is definitely a good look for The Clipse. These two deserve any kind of shine they get so congrats to them.

Havoc The Drunk?

Speaking of detox it looks like one of NYC’s forgotten heroes might need to check himself in as well. Havoc, one half of Mobb Deep, is said to be going through some hard times lately with his man being gone and all and whispers are coming out from the Rock The Bells Tour which he is currently on that he is coping with his problems in the worst way.

Word is that Havoc is a full blown drunk and starts off the day with a bottle! Hav has admittedly had a problem with alcohol in the past and now it looks like those old demons have crept up on him again. On the last stop of the tour the backstage worker who hit me with this info said Havoc was so drunk before he took the stage that he had to run off the stage three times during just a 30 minute set to puke! Not a good look. I’m also hearing the tour promoters really aren’t doing much to step in and stop this as long as he continues to make his sets work.

How a set works when a guy has to puke three times I don’t know. Get it together Havoc and hold Rappin P down till he lands home.

Asher Roth Fail!

XXL Freshman Asher Roth was the hottest thing smoking…before Drake came along. Now it looks like Asher is having trouble just  keeping the fans from walking out of his own show! At a recent tour stop Asher was about to hit the stage when the whole place started clearing out. Kid Cudi, Wale, and a few others hit the stage and got great reactions, but after Cudi the whole place cleared out not even waiting for Asher and he was the headliner! Ouch. Check out the vid below.
