Young Jeezy Double Disc?

Jeezy is well known as one of the most consistent artists in the game. Three classics to his resume is nothing to smirk at and Young has been talking up his soon to come latest project, Thug Motivation 103, for the past few months. The album is supposed to be a throwback to his first CD, dealing strictly with the streets and avoiding all commercial aspects. Sounds good enough already but I got some new info today on the album that is making it sound twice as nice.

Double discs have been a thing of the past recently. The economy of the music business just isn’t hospitable to them anymore, however I am hearing Young is defying the odds and is planning on his 4th album to be a double disc. Apparently Jeezy didn’t plan on doing this initially however once he got in the studio he hit a zone and the music just kept on coming, something like 50 songs have already been layed down I am told. I am also hearing that his label Def Jam, is willing to do almost anything he wants as he is basically their biggest star at this point, so if a double disc is what he wants a double disc is what we will get.

This is a good rumor and I hope it comes true. Jeezy albums always ride out from front to back so I’m sure a double would be no different.  Young!

Yung Joc The Burger King?

Yung Joc has always claimed to be a hustler. Although he has been quiet on the music scene I got word that he has still been getting it in and in this recession is relying on his Hustlenomics to get him by.  Since the music biz gets worse and worse by the minute, it looks like Joc has chosen to invest his money into something that people will always need.

That’s right, gluten filled fat burgers from Burger King! Joc has apparently bought into the Burger King franchise and has opened up two restaurants in his native Atlanta last month.  Joc owns several other businesses around the area I am told including his own jewelry store and sneaker boutique. From what I understand Joc will not oversee the day to day operations but acts strictly as an investor and hired already trained managers to run his spots for him.  Joc supposedly invested over a million into these two restaurants so let’s hope this pops off for the guy.

This is a great look I think. His last investment of a 10 pound necklace was straight buffoonery so this is definitely a step up in his portfolio game, I must say. So next time your in the A and feel that old stomach rumble hit up a BK, you just might be supporting Yung Joc. “Meet at me the Burger King, it’s goin down!” I know, I know.

Rick Ross Shot At?

People getting shot or shot at is no joke. We have lost too many talents to the horrors of street violence and petty beefs that get taken way too far. I am hearing that some serious situations popped off just yesterday involving none other than the biggest boss Rick Ross! Details are still sketchy on this one but from what I have so far here it goes.

Ross was in his native Miami with his close friend and artist Gunplay (the one with the crazy hair) when the incident happened. The two were in some shopping mall in the area but when they came out and hopped into Ross’ Maybach they were met with gunfire from a car full of shooters!  The word coming out is that Gunplay lived up to his name and did not hesitate to bust back covering the boss from all harm. Cops were called out and the good news is that the only fatality is the Maybach, as from what I am hear got the Swiss cheese special with bullet holes.

Thank God nobody was hurt on this one at least.  This is brand new so the only info I got for you is what I put above. The reasons for the shooting are still unknown but this is pretty much fact and not a rumor. So the next time we see a headline about some rapper and his entourage getting popped with guns, don’t be so quick to judge. It’s a different world out there for them. Also massive shout outs to Gunplay and Triple C’s. Fuck the haters.
