” This is my story. 1st and foremost, i want to thank God that i’m here
to write you this message. Im a music producer from Miami (you can read
my bio and hear my music on www.myspace.com/whereishiphop)

.
I was in Haiti when the Earthquake occured. I left Haiti 2 days ago and
I’m currently in the US but my family is still in Haiti, sleeping on
the streets because we lost our house. The whole neighborhood is
shattered and the houses that are left standing have to be demolished
because of severe damage. And to make matters worse, the prison
collapsed and about 3000 prisoners are on the loose and they have
access to heavy artillery because they ransacked the MINUSTAH
headquarters (United Nations in Haiti) , who had collapsed as well. We
had to organize a neighborhood brigade where all of us who have
weapons, met up and have codes to identify each other at night because
there are no lights, no electricity. Each street in the neighborhood
has a code and pass a certain time, people are not allowed to be
walking in the neighborhood. If they do, they have to identify
themselves with the code or they will get shot. There is no government,
Justice, Police force or prison in Haiti right now, so everything is
legal. I had to leave Haihttp://static.stuff.co.nz/1263437798/984/3230984.jpg

ti thru the Dominican Republic because we were
running low on food, water, and other supplies in the neighborhood.
There’s no structure for the distribution of aid and help that is
coming to Haiti from foreign countries so we do not know when we will
ever get anything once we run out. Since everything in Haiti is
imported and all grocery stores have collapsed and have been ransacked
by local people, our chances of getting anything are very low because
the priority right now for help is hospitals, and taking people out
under rubble. Even if we want to buy stuff from little merchants that
had some food stored for sale, since they are running out of food as
well, they bumped the prices up more then 50% on everything. Now we are
only living on cash that we had on us that day or at home, that we put
together to get supplies since most banks have collapsed and all others
that are in pieces cannot open. The central has also collapsed… This
situation is very difficult, stressful and i know people that have died
of heart issues due to trauma. I need to know what medicine is most
helpful in these conditions, also what medicine to help contain disease
from exposure to cadavers because there are still hundreds under rubble
around us. My plan is to get as much help as i can to buy some supplies
when i get to the Dominican Republic and go to Haiti to help out how
ever i can. Im planning on going back next week. I http://static.stuff.co.nz/1263437716/980/3230980.jpg appreciate you taking your time to read my story and im looking forward to hearing
back from you. Thanks again. Peace.”
