Ladies & Gentlemen,

This newsletter is dedicated to Haiti. In light of the recent tragedy that Haiti has just faced, I thought it very important to bring further awareness of just how serious the situation in Haiti is right now.  In this issue of our newsletter it will discuss the tragedy in Haiti, ways to contribute in the fight to save Haiti, and our involvement in the fight to save Haiti and it’s people. Please take time out to read and I hope that you will find it in your hearts to reach out and lend a hand to help Haiti.

Sincerely,

On Tuesday, January 12,2010, Haiti experienced a 7.0 catastrophic earthquake causing over 100,000 deaths and effecting over 3 million lives. Before the earthquake Haiti was already one of the poorest countries in the western hemisphere. Almost two weeks after the earthquake Haiti has still experienced aftershocks. A glimpse of hope still exists as rescue attempts are leading to miracles of people still being found alive underneath the rubble. In the despair of darkness humanitarian efforts are in effect, nations and foreign countries are lending a helping hand to help the people of Haiti. Personally my heart goes out to the victims of this natural disaster, and as a humanitarian I feel compelled to do something to help. Remember that a little bit will help a lot if we give in unison.

Every donation or effort of kindness will help rebuild Haiti. You may not be financially stable to give, but there are ways you can help in other areas. Start by cleaning out your closet, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. You may have clothes and shoes that you don’t wear anymore or that can’t fit wash them and bag them up.

This can help people who are now homeless and lost everything they had. You can also send canned foods (preferably with easy to open tops). However, monetary assistance is priority, the money will be used to purchase the supplies that they need for wounded victims and food. Every day another person dies from something as simple as a wound that turns into an infection which could be treated if they had the right supplies. Their are also children who are orphans because their families lives have been taken due to the earthquake, where will they go?

If you have it in your heart please find a way to give to the needy they are going to need our assistance for a long time. Here are a few legitimate websites and phone numbers that you can research and make contributions to:
