I’ve learned in life “Timing is Everything”and right now heading into 2011 it seems to be the perfect time for music lovers to take notice of Miami,Fl up and coming artist J.Nic$. I first heard J.Nic$ when a close friend of mine who is an artist as well by the name of Vito sent over a record he had did with two other artist  which ended up being J.Nic$ and Phresh James. The record was called “Soul Searching” and I thought the record was incredible. Incredible because I thought that all three artist were totally different but took the listener through their own personal story during each verse. Each verse had it’s own feel and each artist displayed their own personal “Sound & Style”. An this is where I took notice of J.Nic$ and I got in touch with another friend of mine by the name of Goldenbuttafly, to set up an interview with Nic$ for the “Next In Line” section here on 24HourHipHop.com. Myself and Nic$ spoke via email and I found out he had already done a feature which was coming up shortly done by Breeze(Check Out The Interview Here On Cloud 9). From then on J.Nic$ “Progression” seem to grow more and more especially with the release of his complete album called the “The Stimulus Package“. Releasing video after video to promote the project backed by performances including his night at The Rising Live which was something to watch as Nic$ took control of the crowd and actually performed “Soul Searching” Ft. Vito & Phresh James as well. Below is a small documentary done by Unkle Luc & Last Rights which goes into depth the day of J.Nic$ biggest performance to date at UM which took place last week. Unkle Luc did his thing once again and showed his creative vision as usual.
