Recently, it seems like this is the new phrase for 2007. Between artists like Young Dro, Yung Joc, T-Pain, Ray Lavender and J Holiday releasing songs and lyrics about their main significant others having their own girlfriends on the side, making it quite possibly the new and sexy trend in relationships nowadays, question that lingers, what are they trying to impose? At first, it was just a bold statement that Young Dro of Grand Hustle just happened to mention in a song, that one verse opened a new chapter in female same sex relationships. Coincidentally, was he trying to trigger something about certain women in the industry, or was it just a line to stir controversy? 


Controversy or not, one female Hip-Hop artist has been in the limelight lately being questioned about her current sexual preference. The former First Lady of Ruff Ryders, Ms. Eve, has been hounded for the past several months by paparazzi and media pressing her about her sexuality. That being said, she has been reported to be associated with a lesbian group called Girls of the Night, where she was a host of one of their parties. It was apparently a huge turnout. Eve goes on to state that there have been times that she is approached by women periodically throughout the week, but she holds her claim on being straight and tells them politely that she strictly sticks to guys. However, within the past month, sources confirm that during a visit to Miami, staying at the Setai Hotel in South Beach, she was reported ordering a female escort to her room.
