I hate to say it but, we told you so. We told the streets
Rick Ross was Next In Line when he only had a small song called “Hustlin”
produced by some up and coming producers named “The Runners!” We then told you about
the Opa-Locka goon named Brisco (signed to Poe Boy Ent/Cash Money) but you
didn’t listen and now he’s in the hood with Lil Wayne and making everyone
familiar with just who Brisco is on his latest street anthem “Bitch I’m Me”
(produced by J Rock).

Sorry, if I’m rubbing it in but I’m far from done. Remember
an artist named Flo Rida (aka Mr. Birthday Man!) being in our Next In Line
section? Well he just happens to have his video for “Low” featuring T-Pain on
MTV playing every 5-10 minutes and it’s the most downloaded song on itunes with
his debut album ‘Mail On Sunday’ coming first quarter of 2008 on Poe Boy Ent/Atlantic.

I know you’re probably making excuses but here are some
facts to swallow with a bottle of Ace Of Spades. I interviewed a producer name
LV who just happened to co-produce (along side Sean C) Jay-Z‘s critically
acclaim album “American Gangster” or should I talk about Playaz Circle. When I
did the interview, their album was dropping in 2008 and “Duffle Bag Boy” was
going to be the second single on the DTP compilation album. Don’t forget about rapper/singer
Sean Kingston (chart topping single “Beautiful Girls”), and Soulja Boy (Gold
Album, Grammy Nominated and Platinum Ringtone). Not to mention Plies (“The Real
Testament”) and producer Drumma Boy (went on to also produce USDA “White Girl”
and Rocko “Umma DO Me”) who got together and made a smash single called
“Shawty” featuring T-Pain.

What about Kane Beatz who produced Brisco’s “In The Hood”
ft. Lil Wayne and DJ Khaled‘s “S On My Chest” ft Lil Wayne just to name a few. Then
there was J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, a West Coast rapper named Hot Dollar (signed
to SoSoDef/Island Def Jam), Triple C‘s (Rick Ross, Torch, Gunplay) with their ‘Black
Flag’ album and Rocko (signed to Rocky Road/Island Def Jam), the next big thing
out of Atlanta! So now that I have your attention in understanding that we
predict the future, here are some up and comers to look out for in 2008.
