24hourhiphop.com sits down with recording 2Tallin’ from California. He talks to us about his new music, producers he’s worked with, and what he also has planned for the coming year. Check out the interview below and see what 2Tallin’ had to say!
24HHH: Intorduce yourself to everyone that doesnt already know who you are?
2TALLIN’: Heyyyyy it’s your boy 2TALLIN’, coming to you from the beautiful Sunshine State of
California.
24HHH: Before we get into your music, can you describe your history about how you got into the music business and what inspired you?
2TALLIN’: I started producing and writing music in 2005, after needing a release to the business world. Music gives me a stress relieve from my businesses of social networking. I’m passionate about making music that all ages can appreciate.
24HHH: What was the hip hop scene like for you growing up where your from?
2TALLIN’: The Hip-Hop scene on the West Coast has always been alive, but people have really
never given Fresno a chance to shine amongst the Bay & LA. I’m inspired by the music scene in my town of the 559. We’ve got some major breakout artists like Fashawn, Ryan Beatty…we’re on the rise
24HHH: What makes you Unique as a artist and different from other rappers out now?
2TALLIN’: My music is for all ages, I focus on clean lyrics, and fun vibes. My music is RockNRoll/
EDM meets Hip-Hop. From the production, to our music visuals we focus on Weird Al Yankovich crazy fun, and focused on my roots of Rock music!

24HHH: Tell us about what you are working on?
2TALLIN’: a. I’m working on my own independent label… 2TALLIN’mania. We’ve got some truly
talented artists (Tyler Huff, MC Phaze One) that I’m helping produce. My brother Tyler and I are also creating a EDM focused project called TNT. Also I’m working on a lot of new music for my next album, and I’ve been doing a lot of hot upcoming single
features.
24HHH: What producers have you worked with and who would you like to work with in the future?
2TALLIN’: a. A lot of people don’t know but I produce a lot of my own instrumentals. I feel that
producing your own beats allows you to really feel the song with your lyrics. I’ve been pleased to work with 2ProBeats, Draft, D-Dub, Cidibeats.
24HHH: Are you happy with the feedback you have been getting from people on material you have released?
2TALLIN’: a. I’m so thankful for everyone that’s supported my first EP.. Future vs. Retro. I feel that the world has still yet to experience the positivity, clean vibes in my music. But I have faith that in time the world will all get to know 2TALLIN’
24HHH: In todays free download age, what do you need to do to make your self a household name?
2TALLIN’: You need awesome visuals, you need to collaborate with artists that you care about
and make music that’s orginal to you. I feel like music is changing, the real legends will never be giving free downloads. The future is getting $20-$100 per fan, with other special limited release promotions to go with the new music

24HHH: How do you feel about the current state of the hiphop scene?
2TALLIN’: a. I really like the competitive nature of the hiphop scene right now, however I do feel
that the entire music scene needs to get away from hating on each other, and more to one love for all musicians. We’re still a rare bread.
24HHH: Outside of the music what else are you currently working on?
2TALLIN’: a. My biggest ventures, is my social networking business www.Realtimeoutsource.com ,
also we’re starting a venture called Artist Outsource focused at help indie artists get more real-time and social success to their music. I’m a social entrepreneur.
24HHH: Where do you see yourself going in 2012 and how do you plan to separate yourself from the other artist out today to get the recognition you feel you deserve?
2TALLIN’: a. I’m working to develop a Kickstarter for my newest music venture, to really start to
get more from each true fan. I believe that fans would pay thousands for specials exclusives with their favorite artists like Skype call, Lunch date, or Perform for private party, or inspire a song, be in a music video.
