24: Introduce yourself to everyone that doesn't already know who you are

454 Life: We are 454 Life Entertainment and we are a record label based in San Jose, CA. We have four artists signed to our label: Thai, Drew Deezy, Nump, and IZ.

24: What was the Hip-Hop scene like for you growing up where you're from?

454 Life: San Jose was never really on the map as far as Hip-Hop goes. We've changed that.

24: What makes you Unique as a label and different from other labels out now?

454 Life: Our label is very family-oriented and close-knit. You will never see any of us alone. When one person eats, everybody is eating.

24: Tell us about what you are working on.

454 Life: Drew Deezy is finishing up his mixtape with DJ Drama. Thai is over in Vietnam right now shooting music videos and he'll be in the Philippines next week collaborating with some of the artists over there. IZ is currently working on his album.

24: What producers have you worked with and who would you like to work with in the future?

454 Life: We've worked with many producers out here in the Bay Area. We'll work with anyone that has hot production.

24: Are you happy with the feedback you have been getting from people on material you have released?

454 Life: Yes, people are starting to understand what we're doing and the responses from that have been positive. And our fans love it too. That's the important thing.

24: In today's free download age, what do you need that you don't to make yourself a household name.

454 Life: You really have to take advantage of the tools available now online to market yourself and your brand. We use social media such as Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter to push our music out there to the masses.

24: How do you feel about the current state of the Hip-Hop scene?

454 Life: We think Hip-Hop is in a good place. It's evolving right now to a bigger and better sound than what it was before.

24: Outside of the music what else are you currently working on.

454 Life: Besides music, we've ventured into a couple other projects such as movies. With our sister company 454 Films, we produce music videos and movies (e.g. The Chosen One with Rob Schneider).

24: Where do you see yourself going in 2011 and how do you plan to separate yourself from the other labels out today to get the recognition you feel you deserve?

454 Life: We definitely feel our turn is coming up real soon. We're going to continue doing what we've been doing and people will start to take notice of our movement.
