24: Introduce yourself to everyone that doesn’t already know who you are.

Ariooose: I am Arioose. The artist, Entrepreneur from Elizabeth, NJ holding it down for RoughKut Entertainment.

24: Before we get into your music, can you describe your history about how you got into the music and what inspired you?

Ariooose: Writing music and poetry started in 4th grade in Ms. Conti class. It was a homework assignment and my poem/rap was the most talked about. I kept going from there. I used my mom struggles at the time she was a single parent as inspiration and motivation for me to rap. The goal was trying to blow at a young age so I can take care of her.

24: What was the Hip-Hop scene like for you growing up where you’re from?

Ariooose: I can’t speak for everyone in Elizabeth, but in Salem Park, Jefferson Park, Cherry St, these Haitian neighborhoods, etc rocked with artists such as 50 cent, LOX, Jim Jones, French Montana, Max B. Hip hop scene was based on realness and who words to trust so you can learn from. Thug motivation, that Jeezy. Its what the hood was open to at the time of my era.

24: What makes you unique as an artist and different from other rappers out now?

Ariooose: Listen to my music. I’m talking about something, A lot of these rappers talking that fly stuff with no meaning. Their presence last for a moment. My music, my knowledge is timeless. I love hip hop but its not the only thing I do. I song write r and b, pop, rock and house music. One of the main things I’ve grown to love doing is writing jingles for corporate businesses and foundations/charities. I’ve wrote songs on renewable energy, child obesity, Haiti foundation, Nelson Mandela tribute, UFC (Performed my UFC track the 2010 UFC Fan Expo in Boston) , Untamed Industries, etc. Now you tell me what rapper or singer is doing that? None.

24: Tell us about what you are working on?

Ariooose: I just finished a writing piece for the shaolin monks. I got a lot of music time in my hands so I song write different genres of music. As far as Hip Hop, I got 3 albums worth of music ready to go when the time is right. I’m more focused on working with more foundations and going to more high schools and colleges to tell my story and introduce our program called the I AM SUCCESS Program.

24: What producers have you worked with and who would you like to work with in the future?

Ariooose: I’ve worked with Ibo Butler in NYC Sotti Studios thanks to Fabrizio Sotti, Tony Maserati Studios own Spider the Great , Ben Elliot in ShowPlace Studios, Drop and Manny in Miami Studio Center, Aziz and Pav in IllPath Studios, AceDaSolo in Grindhaz, Pkolo100 in Pkolo Productions, T-Roy Lightfoot, and PB BEATS PRODUCTION. I feel like this group of people I’ve worked with is all I need to make the music I want. The best music at that. I’m always open to work with other producers but I know where to get a hit record. I have options.

24: Are you happy with the feedback you have been getting from people on material you have released?

Ariooose: Aside from my peers, to be in the position to motivate and inspire students about education through music is the most rewarding to me. And as you see “Don’t Think About It” is getting some crazy buzz. A lot of Haitians located in different cities in the world is reaching out and showing their appreciation and that’s love. Real zoes. Any criticism or feedback I get on any material released is always positive. They know I got that heat. Time will tell.

24: In today’s free download age, what do you need that you don’t to make yourself a household name?

Ariooose: The plan to grab the world by storm. I got support from my city and most of all support from team, RoughKut Entertainment. That’s all I need, the rest is easy, cake.

24: How do you feel about the current state of the Hip-Hop scene?

Ariooose: Current state of hip hop made it easy to distinguish who’s real and who’s fake. I believe in the game just not the players in it but I know its going to change. History always repeats itself. Time will tell.

24: Outside of the music what else are you currently working on?

Ariooose: I work with a company called Mila Grace. We carry a Grade A 1-2 Donor Indian Human Remi Hair which is a 100 PERCENT Virgin. Milagrace is a brand of natural hair and natural products. Check the website out. Milagrace.com

24: Where do you see yourself going in 2011 and how do you plan to separate yourself from the other artists out today to get the recognition you feel you deserve?

Ariooose: 2011 is looking promising. 2012 is more of what I’m focused on. I’ll be in the Game for sure. The biggest Haitian Artist in the World. I’ve already separated myself from other artists because none was ever closed to doing what im doing on a legitimate ground. I been there, done that, when it come to the streets and I have a lawyer and my hood to vouch for me but the significant thing is that I can stand here today and say I don’t need hip hop to be successful. Its why I call myself an entrepreneur. I got my hands in different pots and I can get money in any way. ANY.
