24: How did you end up getting the attention of The Runners which lead you to become the first artist of Runners Music Group?

Bali: Man, believe it or not but its wasn’t like I was trying to get the attention of The Runners because I was with The Runners before they became the production team called The Runners. So basically the whole come up from day one to now I was there with them. I was already recording with Maine and thats how we started our little buzz out here.

24: Do you feel any pressure at all being The Runners first artist or are you just more concern with making the best music possible?

Bali: It’s really no pressure because what people love to hear is something “New”, they get tired of hearing the same thing and what were good at is making something new. Where young but we are leaders at the same time. They are a lot of people saying to me man, your with The Runners its going to be easy for you because anyone can make it with them but when you look at my mixtape The Runners only produced two records on it and the word on the street is that its a wall to wall mixtape. It’s a classic! We did that for a reason just to show people that I could make it without The Runners.

24: You recently worked with DJ Nasty and DJ Khaled for your mixtape “The Come Up” which is big look so what should I expect to hear when I pop that CD in?

Bali: Yeah, thats 25% of it just by having those two big names hosting it but at the same time when you look at my lyrics and production thats where the other 75% is. All of my beats are from producers thats on there way up in this game. I got a couple of people from my hometown. These producers like Jackpot out of Miami and Javon out of Fort Pierce, Florida these producers are no names to the industry but big names in terms of there sound and work. The mixtape represents the hood and the struggle and I’m putting niggas up on game!

24: Describe your Style & Sound that your bringing to the music world?

Bali: First off I’m bringing the hood to the music world, which was already done by artist like Rick Ross and Young Jeezy. But I’m telling my story and where I’m from and how we live. I got a lot of things that went down around me and in my life. As well as letting people know that the street thing is dying out and you need to find another way out.

24: Why do you think its been taking so long for artist to come out of Orlando Florida compared to other parts?

Bali: To be honest man, I think its a timing thing and its a working thing. I don’t think Orlando had the right direction and we have someone like The Runners leading the way and in the forefront you’ll hear more things coming out of Orlando especially with this movement where creating.

24: What are some other projects your working on right now?

Bali: I’m doing another mixtape as well which will be hosted by Bigga Rakin and working on the album.

24: What would you say to an up and coming producer trying to send you some beats for your album?

Bali: I would tell a producer to come with your best because I have all of the hottest producers in the game are going to come with there best. But what they need to understand is that my album will also have a “Sound” which will fit around my image and my my ego, where I come from to what I’m about. An for up and coming artist I do a lot of collabo’s with artist because I was there before and understand where they are coming from.

24: What’s the best way for people to find out more about you and stay updated with you and your music?

Bali: Go to www.myspace.com/legendarybali.

24: Any final thoughts for the words readers?

Bali: Everybody need to get motivated, everybody need to strive for something! If you can only see in front of you thats a problem because you need to be able to see down the road, everything you see today can be gone today or tomorrow. Find something hold on to it and come up!
