How did you come up with your rap names? How did you come up with BTM, tell us about it.
Legend->BTM originated from the mindset that we’ve been on since we got out here in the streets.different groups of ppl link of for all types of things; playing ball, smoking out, chasing bitches, in our case the main focus has always been about the money. All that gang banging shit is irrelevant if everybody struggling so i wanted it to be clear that this wasn’t no gang.It was a group of people getting together to better themselves financially.the name Legend was easy to come up with considering the fact that its my birth name so there you go “BTM Legend”
Nino ->I grew up watching New Jack City so i took the concept Nino Brown had to make something out of nothing!
Where are you from, and what was it like growing up there?
Legend->I cant really say that ive come up from any 1 neighborhood in Miami but i could say that I’m a dade county nigga from day 1.I’ve lived in almost every hood from Kendall down to Allapattah and lil Havana.since about 15 i have lived in Allaapttah though so i would have to say that that is where i have stayed for the longest and most memorable parts of my life. What can i say about this neighborhood?lets just say that its obvious that people are trying to make ends meet however they can.
Nino ->I’m from Miami and shit just crazy out her everybody on a hustle ,if it ain’t dope it’s stripping or swiping or just working hard 9-5 .It’s like everybody believes in one thing the all might dollar.
Who were you raised by? Tell us your family situation. Got any brothers, sisters, or any siblings? Tell us about your childhood, and how it impacted your music?
Nino ->My mom raised me i had no brothers or sisters and since she worked a lot i spent most of my time alone watcing tv or listening to music then i got older and started hanging out in the streets.I started trapping stealing cars, popping pills got into hells shit ended up in jail a lot.
Legend->My mom raised Me,my lil brother, and my Lil sister. My dad ain’t locked up or dead but he has about 4 other baby mommas to deal with so my ol girl always did everything on her own.she went through a lot trying to keep all of us happy and she did real good for the most part.Being the man of the house hit me hard though so once i realized my role,i took it upon myself to support my family. My music got a lot of struggle in it right now.I think i already got all of that off my chest though so I’m trying to have more fun with it in the future.
What age did you start rapping?
Nino ->I started rapping when i was like 13, my home boy was doing music with his cousins and told me to try it out. They like what i did so i just kept at it.
Legend->Been into music for a long time but i actually started rapping at about the age of 19.

Legend->“What You Want” popped in my head cuz i wanted to do something for the Dboys. They da livest niggas in da club anyway so i wanted to give them something to bump to.I came up with the hook and pitched it to my producer KillaWattz and he laid down the beat for me that same night.after that Nino came up with the bridge and we laid it down.Knew we had accomplished something big.
Nino ->Legend already had the hook and verse i just came along and added the bridge to it and dropped my verse.Killwatts our engineer handled the rest.
