24: When I first interviewed you for our next in line section a few readers wasn’t really that familiar with you and your movement but I’m sure now you got there attention with your latest move, so go ahead and let the readers now who you just signed with?

Cash Chris: Rick Ross’s new label Maybach Music Group. Shout out to the Boss, Rick Ross, Deeper Than Rap is in stores now so  go cop that! Support the Florida Movement.

24: How did you get signed with Maybach Music Group & Nasty Beatmakers?

Cash Chris: Honestly, I found out when everybody else did. After a late nite at Club Iconz, I turned on my phone and had like 10 messages saying congrats and wishing me well. I read all the messages and got to the last one from my manager Spiff TV who is also A&R for DJ Nasty of Nastybeatmakers that said check out the world star link. Sure enough there it was Rick Ross and Spiff TV presents da newest signee to the Maybach Music Group! I’ve been grinding in the “O” for close to ten years back and forth from Palm Beach. In 2008 I met Spiff TV who introduced me to DJ Nasty. DJ Nasty started playing my freestyles on the 5pm traffic jam hosted by J Love on 102 Jamz out here in Orlando and the rest is history.

24: What made you decide to go with Maybach Music Group compared to another label?

Cash Chris: I think a person should want to be associated with the best, the best music, the best cars, the best everything. Like Khaled say “We Da Best” right!

24: Let everyone know about your new single “I Like That” ft. Rick Ross and how that song came about?

Cash Chris: While working on a mixtape I did a record called 3kingz feat. Popov, Jruss, & M16 aka Mr. Palm Beach which was produced by Oz n Da Deacon. I wanted to made a late 90’s, crunk, Miami inspired club track that represented how I felt when I go to the club. Plus, I believe in speaking things into existence, so I said to myself I wanted Ross on it. I told Spiff, Ross came down for DJ Nasty birthday party and we met at the radio station then met up at KDS Studios later that night. Spiff got Ross some of that good Orlando Magic and after a listening session with DJ khaled, Rick Ross, Fat Joe, DJ Nasty, KC Kevin Cossom, and Da Inkredibles to name a few. Ross got up went into an open room and dropped the verse. Bet that up my nigga! “Deeper Than Rap” in stores now.

24: With so many new artist dropping albums and getting signed but nothing follows behind after that how will you separate yourself from the rest and make sure your project comes out?

Cash Chris: Well, everybody knows the rap game is shaky and bullshit happens to the best rappers. All I can do is keep dropping fire, and murk out on every verse. Keep going hard and I’ll put the rest in Gods hands.

24: Tell me some of the projects your working on currently?

Cash Chris: “Dirty, Sexy, Money” special edition of BlokMovaz Radio hosted by DJ Slique download the mixtape for free at www.datpiff.com. Production by Oz Da Deacon, Oddz N Endz, Da Ikredibles & more. I will be dropping some of the hottest mixtapes you will ever hear for the rest of this year and in 2010 I will shock the world!

24: What advice would you give to other up and coming trying to get into the game from your experience so far?

Cash Chris: Keep Grinding! This could be your million dollar hobby, it’s easier than selling dope and less days in jail.

24: What should everyone look out for from you in 2009?

Cash Chris: I’m currently working on a new mixtape called “Playaz Club” which will be only for the ladies. It’s a place where “Ladies get in free and drink free all night“!

24: Any thing you want to promote before we go?
