For the people who dont know where are you from?

 

Im from Miami florida Miami Gardens 7th ave 183rd street I grew up there and been there ever since

 

How did you get the name Champ dizzy?

 

At
first I had the name Lil’ Mike. When i first started doing music I was
apart of a singin group , But as we grew older puberty hit and my voice
deepend up so i couldnt sing as good as before But every one was using
the “lil” and i wanted somting  differen simple and catchy and i
thought i want to be the best so Champ came up and I put the Dizzy to
spice up the name.

 

After seeing a few of the venues youve perfromed at on your myspace

how important do you feel it is for up and comming artist to get there face shown and perform?

 

Its
Very important. Getting out there and getting your face seen makes the
people fimiliar with you. People arnt going to sapport some one they
dont know or havent seen grind. When you go and be infront of the crown
and let them know your

doing it for them it gets you more connected with your audience.

 

What kind of feeling do you want your audience to have when they put in a Champ dizzy record?

 

I get Hype on some tracks and some for the ladies. I keep it diverse but you will hear me more hype.

 

How do you feel like your representing your city and how long have you been putting it down?

 

Ive
been doing music 7 years now I started when i was 11. and im
representing my city in a different way. Most people look at miami as a
bad city. so iam basically saying you dont have to be bad to be
sucsessfull.

 

What are some of the projects youve put out and what are you working on now?

 

I
put out alot of mixtape tracks and what I like I hand out at schools
for free. Thats really what got my name good. But the track “Cuffed Up”
is what has been getting me all of my performances.

 

 

So what is the Champ Show?

 

I
know most people expect it to be somthing different but the champ show
is basically me in the studio but its a down to earth show . When they
see the Champ show people see someone like them that they can relate
to. Not some one who thinks there above anyone else but I keep it funny.

 

Who do you think inspired you the most out of rappers you listin to.

 

My
first inspiration was Bow Wow because of how young he was when he made
it. but i was inspired by someone that young who was sucsessfull. thats
what inspired me to make music. My second insperation is Lil Wayne and
locally Iceberg. I like that he keeps the same plot and dosnt jump
around he sticks to one subject.

 

With
the recent popularity of the Twitters and facebooks how do you feel its
impacting the music industry and how are you using it to your benifit?

 

I 
think its great because it gives you more chances to get your face
shown. Its also great for letting people know whats goin on. Before
when myspace didnt have the instant up date and your direct. You can
tell people when and where your performing and your talking directly to
the fans. and iam making evey thing videos for youtube, Twiterin,
myspace. so look out.
