24: Introduce yourself to everyone that doesn’t already know who you are.

Comftable Kidz: We are the Comftable Kidz (Kouh & Brasel) from the Memphis TN/North Mississippi area .. We are based out of the University of Mississippi.

24: Before we get into your music, can you describe your history about how you got into music and what inspired you?

Comftable Kidz: We met when we were in middle school and ever since, we have had a special connection with anything that we do .. So we started making music after we made it to Ole Miss together, and people were vibing to it, so we just kept going at it worked out perfectly.

24: What was the Hip-Hop scene like for you growing up where you’re from?

Comftable Kidz: We’re from the South, so Southern lyrical rappers have had a huge influence on us, like TI, Curren$y, and Big K.R.I.T. .. But also unexpectedly, we have a west coast influence from rappers like Kendrick Lamar, Dom Kennedy, Ab $oul, and even Outkast.

24: What makes you Unique as an artist and different from other rappers out now?

Comftable Kidz: I feel like people lose sight of what Hip Hop is really about. Music is an art, and we try to put time and construction into our songs. We also can both Sing and Rap, so you never really know what to expect.

24: Tell us about what you are working on.

Comftable Kidz: We just dropped our first ever E.P. “Lounge Session”, and We are currently taking the finishing steps on our debut Mixtape “White Men Cant Bump” .. A spin-off from the movie White Men Can’t Jump feat Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson.

24: What producers have you worked with and who would you like to work with in the future?

Comftable Kidz: We have two producers on our team, and we also use a variety of internet beats .. But we would love to work with Ski Beats, Monster Beatz, and especially Big Krit .. And of course, Mike Will Made It, he is a legend already!

24: Are you happy with the feedback you have been getting from people on material you have released?

Comftable Kidz: It’s amazing .. Our family and close friends particularly love it, so that is kind of satisfaction in itself, but we have the best fans in the world .. They promote everything that we drop, just because they can understand the passion we put in our music. But Im very excited about broadening our fan base!

24: In today’s free download age, what do you need to do to make your self a household name?

Comftable Kidz: I don’t think we are as worried about becoming a household name as we are trying to make money .. Our families have both been through their own struggle, and we’re doing this for them, and our love for music .. But I would absolutely not complain if it turns out that way, and the only way you can do that, is to consistently drop good music.

24: How do you feel about the current state of the Hip-Hop scene?

Comftable Kidz: It’s discouraging in a way, but there has been an emergence of real musicians on the hip hop scene, and its inspiring for lyricists .. We hope to be a group that can make a difference in not only the rap world, but the world itself.

24: Outside of the music, what else are you currently working on?

Comftable Kidz: Well Kouh plays football for Ole Miss, and I’m currently training to play D1 football as well .. So we are really just focusing on earning our blessings through a steady grind, each and every day.

24: Where do you see yourself going in 2013 and how do you plan to separate yourself from the other artist out today to get the recognition you feel you deserve?

Comftable Kidz: We plan on doing multiple shows in a diverse group of cities, and continuing to drop good music. Consistency is key, so we try not to disappoint our listeners .. And we both have very creative minds, so I feel like we can use the growing technology to promote our movement ..

24: How can fans go about contacting you?
