24: Introduce yourself to everyone that doesn’t already know who you are.

Crook671: My name’s Jeff aka Crook. I’ve been arrested for multiple burglaries and robberies with a bunch of other bullshit that’s not worth talking about, hence the name. I was born and raised in Guam, but moved to Vegas in 2007 to find opportunity.

24: Before we get into your music, can you describe your history about how you got into and what inspired you?

Crook671: I’ve been into music since I can remember, especially Hip-Hop. Rapping was just a hobby, but every time I light a joint, I just wanna Rap. Next thing you know, I’m lit everyday so I might as well make music. You can say marijuana inspires me.

24: What was the Hip-Hop scene like for you growing up where you’re from?

Crook671: It was dead, I’m from a small island, so that should explain itself.

24: What makes you Unique as a artist and different from other rappers out now?

Crook671: The fact that I’m not black makes me different from most rappers. Also, I use other beats from other genres of music like: House, Dubstep, Reggae, Pop, etc. I get on anything that sounds good.

24: Tell us about what you are working on.

Crook671: As for now, I’m just doing mixtapes. I plan on dropping a new mixtape every other month so keep up.

24: What producers have you worked with and who would you like to work with in the future?

Crook671: I haven’t worked with much people, but SouthSide, K Salaam, Beatnick, DJ 5150, and Johnny Juliano are some known producers I’ve done business with. I wanna work with anyone who wants to work with me.

24: Are you happy with the feedback you have been getting from people on material you have released?

Crook671: I’m happy with it, even if most of the feedback is from the haters. Bet there’s a hater reading this now.

24: In today’s free download age, what do you need that you don’t to make yourself a household name?

Crook671: I need management, straight up. I handle all my shit on my own and sometimes it gets overwhelming.

24: How do you feel about the current state of the Hip-Hop scene?

Crook671: Hip-Hop is sorta dying right now, but it’ll come back. Truth is, EDM is taking over and I’m tryna stay current by fusing Rap with Electro. But like I said, whatever sounds good.

24: Outside of the music, what else are you currently working on?

Crook671: Sobriety.

24: Where do you see yourself going in 2012 and how do you plan to separate yourself from the other artist out today to get the recognition you feel you deserve?

Crook671: I plan on dropping like 6 mixtapes and hella videos this year, nothing big but to separate myself from others, I’ma keep being myself.
