24: Introduce yourselves to
everyone that doesn’t already know who you are. 

YT: For everybody that don’t
know us, we go by the name D.G.B. (Dem Green Boyz) – [ YT, Chise & A.C.
]

 

24: Before we get into your
music, can you describe your history about how you got into the industry and
what inspired you?   

YT: We got into the music
industry as artists being inspired by different known rappers as well as local
rappers who love music, so we feel we gotta provide music for their ears!

 

24: What makes each member
of Dem Green Boyz unique as artists and different from other rap groups out?

YT: What makes A.C. unique is
his approach and how he gets straight to the point on records. What Makes
Chise different is his wordplay and flow. I have a unique swag and have my own
style of writing verses. 

 

24: Have you ever felt like
too much time passes in the game where you have to make it and that window is
closing? 

YT: Yeah. We feel like that everyday.
Time is passing by so quick, we already been in the game 5 years and it seems
like we just started yesterday. We seen everybody come and go, but they just
haven’t heard us yet!

 

24: What was your inspiration
for the hit single “You
The One”?

YT: We would have to say women basically
and the beat we bought from P-Cutz, it helped us put it all together to make
that track! 

 

24: Are you happy with the
feedback you’ve been getting from the record so far? 

We’ve
got to say we are pretty happy with the feedback and we thank everyone who showed
love and played the tracks. 

 

24: In the beginning stages
of your debut mixtape, what producers have you worked with or would like to
work with on this upcoming project? 

YT: We worked with a couple
producers that have great minds and showed us a lot of different things
musically to help get us better and we feel like we’re ready for the top notch
producers now. Our next project is gonna show it.

 

24: When will that project grace
the shelves/ be available for download?

YT:  The mixtape will be
complete and ready for the streets by early September, but we’ve released a few
tracks and have them up on our Myspace page so go listen to them and let us
know what you think.

 

 24: What are you currently working on?  

 YT: We’re currently working on
finishing up our mixtape and trying to push our first single “You The One”.

 

24: Where do you see
yourselves going in 2010? 

YT: We would like to get signed
to a label one day, but we just gotta take it one day at a time and keep our
faith in God while we write songs and release new music.
