24: Introduce yourself to all of the readers and let them know where your from?
 

DJ So Flyy: It’s your boy DJ So Flyy from St. Louis, Mo.
 

24: What made you want to become a DJ?
 

DJ So Flyy: My uncle is a radio disc jockey, he has been working for the Tom Joyner Morning Show in Texas for years. When I was younger I was interested in what he did and as I got older I started to go to parties and appreciate the “DJ” and I always wondered How they did what they do, mixing songs, tricks etc.
 

24: Which DJ would you say inspires you the most and makes you want to become better and take it to that next level?
 

DJ So Flyy: As far as skill I would say DJ Kid Capri and mixtape DJ would be DJ Drama.
 

24: Tell me about some of the projects you are currently working on as we speak and what’s to come in the near future?
 

DJ So Flyy: Grinding hard man doing artist mixtapes and I also DJ for a group Called “Da Banggaz” their signed to Atlantic Records and we’re out of town all the time. Also I have an entertainment website I built a website called www.ImOnDeck.com So basically its grind time 24/7 for me.
 

24: Outside of being a DJ what else would you say you have a passion for because I know a lot of DJ’s are producers as well or manage artist etc?


DJ So Flyy: Yeah, I manage a artist named “Xo” out of St. Louis and overall I want to expand my Artist Management company as well as  A&R for a major record Label.



24: Tell me your favorite Top 5 records right now to play in the club that gets the biggest response by the people?

DJ So Flyy: 1. Da Banggaz – “Run Up Get Done Up”

24: A lot of up and coming artist feel like its very hard to get to DJ’s and showcase their music so what advice would you give to them?


DJ So Flyy: Basically if you have “Hot” music then give it out to the public. Build a relationship with DJ’s and anybody in the club scene.
 

24: What’s coming next for you in 2009?


DJ So Flyy: More mixtapes, more from my artist “Xo” and just giving the streets what they need Hot music.
