24: Before we get into your music, can you describe your history about how you got into and what inspired you?

Dolo: I’ve always been a fan of music, but I was an artist first. It wasn’t until high school, with the influence of a close friend at the time, that I really began to take pursuing music seriously. I began to put my sketching down and poetry took its place. Producing shortly followed after and has never strayed since.

Dolo: I’ve worked with Buda Da Future, Scram Jones, DK All Day, Evan Brown, Notes, to name a few outside of my own in-house production. I would love to work with Just Blaze and Kanye West, as I continue to develop my sound, they cater to my creative needs.

Dolo: Key exposure on the right platform. It’s been all about timing and pace with me.

24: How do you feel about the current state of the Hip-Hop scene?

Dolo: The current state of Hip-Hop to me is taking a great turn into the next decade. Everything has changed as we knew it before and I’ve become optimistic as to how the new music will represent out culture.
