24: Coming from Texas. did that big music scene have an influence on you?

Yea. That whole movement had an influence on me and everything they had going on.

24: ‘Walk that Walk’ is getting crazy play. How do you feel about the success of that record?
It’s funny it’s getting as big as it is. I did it so long ago. I been pushing it for a minute before it hit the fan. By the time it hit I was moving on. It’s doing more than I expected and thought it would do. So I’m fortunate.
24: You got another joint ‘Ice Cream Paint Job’ which is following the steps of ‘Walk that Walk.’ How do you feel about this record?
It blew up in the west coast before it move to the south. It just been growing and spreading. so im glad both my records doing good.

24: Before you create your music what is your aim?
I always think big. So before I put a track down I think of where I want it to go. I think in terms of making a record the world can vibe too. I don’t just want to just make music for the locals. Even ‘Walk the Walk’ and ‘Ice Cream Paint Job’ shows you I think big.
24: July 28th your first album ‘Dorrough Music’ is dropping. What can we expect to hear?
Self titled album. We anticipating at least 4 or 5 songs to come from the album singles besides the 2 that’s already out. The funny thing about it, they not necessarily like the singles that’s out. They touch on all bases, the album touches on all bases. One of those albums you’ll be addicted to, and it got those songs everybody can relate to. July 28th I’ll let the cd speak for it self.

24: As far as production and collaborations. Who is on the album?

Most of my production is in house. My two singles came from in house production. So I feel if I can go that forward with in house I’m a stick with it. I got Q.Smith, Too Much and What Not Productions producing entire numbers and other joints on the album. A lot of label mates remixing some songs. I ain’t too big on features I want the records to be big because of me, not just cause somebody hopped on it. Its going to be crazy though.
24: What motivated you to pursue a career in music?
I always been doing it. People always responded to it and it inspired me to keep doing what I was doing.
24: I always ask an artist this. Whats your definition of progress?
Its everyday gaining or as time grow you should be in a better position then you were before. Progress is just what it is. Everyday I’m growing as an artist and I’m a continue to do that.

24: What can we expect in the future?
When the album dropd a lot of people a know where I’m coming from when I’m saying its longevity. I rather have my music speak for me then me just saying it . We almost on a tour now six days a week we on the road, so moving around touring and just getting my face out there, just spreading my name.
24: Any last words you want to say to the Hip Hop world?
I just want to tell everybody keep supporting your boy. Be original do you own thing. Don’t let nobody stop you from doing your own thing.
