24: Introduce yourself to everyone and let them know where your repping?

Duce Pound: What’s good, it’s ya boys Quise and Perlé also known as Duce Pound coming straight outta Dade County and repping Carol City to be exact.

24: What do you feel your bringing to the music world?

Duce Pound: Something that the games been missing, we’re like a breath of fresh air. We are so versatile that its more like second nature. Not only do we rap, we also produce, ghost write, engineer, harmonize, battle rap you name it we can do it. There’s just so many ways we can switch it up. We can get on any track from a west coast, east coast to a mid-west record and still keep it southern.

24: Who are some artist that you would say influence you musically?

Duce Pound: Of course our big boss Rick Ross, not to mention artist like Jay-Z, 2Pac, Biggie, Outkast, Eminem, Marvin Gaye, The Isley Brothers, Linkin Park and Bob Marley to name a few. Basically anyone who created their own lane from any genre because we love and appreciate great music!

24: Tell about some the projects your currently working on?

Duce Pound: We’ll we’re  currently about to release our first mixtape since being signed under Maybach Music Group/Def Jam called 57S Music so be on the look out for that.

24: Who are some of the producers you have been working with and who would you love to work with in the near future?

Duce Pound: We have been working with The Fliptones, Sinister, Golden Child, Blackout, Diaz Brothers and a lot of producers based out of Miami,Fl. But in the near future we hope to work with producers such as The Runners, The Neptunes, Timbaland, T-Pain, Dr. Dre, Kanye West, Just Blaze and Mannie Fresh. T.I. also just did a beat that was for Rick Ross latest album Deeper Than Rap that did not make the album but most likely be on the next one so we hope to get in the studio with him.

24: How did you get the attention of Maybach Music Group?

Duce Pound: Well for starters we did a song for Perlé’s mixtape called “U Gotta Love Me” and once we finished it, it just reminded us of some type of Maybach Music. Perlé and Ross are like brothers and came up together, so once we gave it to him and he let the Boss hear it, a few days later he dropped a verse on it and the rest was history.
