I go by the name of Duece Uno I used to be called 21 but had to change that Name for personal reasons Small thing to a giant . Shit I’m from Broward county Fl, born and raised been here all my life. My hoes call me papi chulo you would think I’m Spanish lol but nah I’m African American straight yank

How did you get your Artist name?

Honestly that name was kind of pass down to me from my big sis I use to be called 21 but then 21 savage started popping off so i said fuck it ima change my name . I changed it to Duece Uno from there shit was like clock work the streets started calling me that next thing you know it’s on a mixtape

What motivated you to get into Music?

The struggle seeing all my people either dead or in jail were im from you either rap or play ball it’s the only way out so that’s my motivation Trying to find a way out.

What makes you unique / stand out as an Artist compared to the rest?

I’ll say my versatility a lot of these artist so 1 way either they make music for the streets or make music for the industry I can do both I can make R&B , trap , gangsta shit y’all can tell me go record a gospel song I’ll have the Choir rocking with it haha.

I worked with Brisco working with bris was a growing point in my career bra really showed me that you gotta put a lot of feeling and soul into your music gotta make people feel your pain.. I also work with stitches , Dj Paul, Og Boobie black, solider kidd the list goes on I work with a bunch of artist in my city as well they all taught me something that I use in my career today.

What are somethings you would like to achieve and why?

I want to be the gucci mane of Broward county I want to put other local rappers in a position to win and take care of they family maybe even open a label in the heart of my city kinda like how QC did when I get to that level tho I’ll Probally stop rapping and become a CEO change some lives.

What are some past achievement worth mentioning?

I hit a million views 4 years ago independently no label no hand outs that particular video got the attention of Rocko Dj Paul and Miami rapper stitches all that was out the mud so that was a big accomplishment for me especially coming from were im from.

On a personal level, how would you describe yourself in detail?

I’m passionate about what I do . Most people say I’m outgoing and got great energy so I try to uplift those around me I can be a lil hothead at times though like I’ll snap in a instance I try to keep that side of me buried though.

What is your latest single? What are you working on?

I just dropped a new single called “KashDoll” y’all gotta go check that out hopefully my baby kash doll stops playing that record really that’s me lowkey shooting my shots.

In this music industry, what is something you learned the hard way?

It’s a lot of gimmicks and fake shit going on .You gone take a couple losses, lose a couple thousand but that’s gone either make you or break you this game ain’t meant for everybody it’s just like the dope game you gone run cross some robbers you gone run cross some plugs at the end of the day it’s a gamble.

How long have you been doing music? What got you into Music?

I been doing music 5 years .. been taking it serious for like 2 or 3 years though i was playing with it at first, seeing my big sis and big brotha rap really what made me want to do it . It was kinda like a exit way from all your problems stepping in that booth just speaking on how you feel or what you been though.

In 5 years, where do you see yourself in the music industry and why?

In 5 years I’m tryna be bigger than pac I’m gone be bigger than pac I wana leave a stain so big in this music industry nobody can forget even when I’m gone. why? Cause that’s the goal to be remembered.

Who were some music influences you listened to while growing up? What do you remember when you think about them?

Most artist my age would say Biggie Pac they was dope but influencers to me was Jeezy , Gucci , Boosie, Ross they was in the streets before the fame so they inspired all the streets niggas to wanna be like them.
