24: Introduce yourself to everyone that doesn’t already know who you are.
Feezy Fee: What up doe, I’m Feezy Fee, the Workaholic himself for all the haters & sneak dissers. All it means is lawyer fees, court fees etc.
24: Before we get into your music, can you describe your history about how you got into and what inspired you?
Feezy Fee: Back in 93’, my cousin had a karaoke machine and every weekend I would go over there and make music, not realizing one day I would make history. #whooop
24: What was the Hip-Hop scene like for you growing up where you’re from?
Feezy Fee: Everybody was perfecting their craft in the D (Detroit). By me knowing we were the descendants of Motown, I felt it was only a matter of time before the spotlight came home.
24: What makes you Unique as a artist and different from other rappers out now?
Feezy Fee: I do in depth on all that I was: the good, the bad, and the ugly. I literally went from nothing to something in a summer and you can hear it in my rhymes. You will see my growth!
24: Tell us about what you are working on.
Feezy Fee: I just released “The Workaholic Mixtape” in November 2012. Now I’m working on a mixtape entitled “Snatchies”, where I’m jackin beats from rock, pop, r&b, and rap music. I’m remixing everything. Then I’m working on a mixtape with my lil brother QP from Smack/URL; coming sooner than you think!
24: What producers have you worked with and who would you like to work with in the future?
Feezy Fee: I worked with a handful of cats like J O’neal, Scrizzler, Kojack, Wax a million, and my favorite is this young cat in Detroit named Nemo. Look him up!
24: Are you happy with the feedback you have been getting from people on material you have released?
Feezy Fee: No I’m not happy.. It’s not enough!
24: In today’s free download age, what do you need to do to make yourself a household name?
Feezy Fee: I need to do more features with mainstream artists, more music, and more footage. That is how I EARN that! I’m working on it now.
24: How do you feel about the current state of the Hip-Hop scene?
Feezy Fee: It reminds me of the WWF in the 90’s. It’s fake as fuck, lacks originality and creativity. To me, everybody is damn near a remake of somebody we already liked.
24: Outside of the music, what else are you currently working on?
Feezy Fee: I have a few business ventures in the works. I’m going to school for business management and I’m looking to get into real estate as well.
24: Where do you see yourself going in 2012 and how do you plan to separate yourself from the other artist out today to get the recognition you feel you deserve?
Feezy Fee: Earn it thru work! I see my team (WhoopNation) at the top. I’m perfecting my craft by being in the gym daily. I want a catalog twice the size of 2Pac’s and a longer run than Frankie Beverly & Maze. They on like their 4th decade right?.. Sheesh, I’ll just continue to be a workaholic and stay focused. Everything else is up to the man upstairs!
