24hourhiphop.com sits down with upcoming rapper Freewxrld. Freewxrld talks to us about his current projects he has out along with info on upcoming projects. We also get insight into his life growing up, his musical influences and his backround. We also get to check out his new single “Hypebeast”. 24HHH: Introduce yourself to everyone that doesn’t already know who you are?

Freewxrld: Was good world its ya boy young Free aka father fettuccine coming down from the bottom the deep south Broward county Florida Deerfield what up, C -Land what up, what up LegendsGang

24HHH: How did you come up with your Producer/Artist name? Tell us about it.

Freewxrld: When I first started rapping I went by Ku$hin back in the day but I always felt like the name limited me to a lane & only a certain sound so the name freewxrld came about as an idea ” its a free world you can do whatever you want” it became a mindset and as a mindset it ended up becoming my name, its the way that I live I’m living in a free world so I rap about everything that’s happening in the free world

24HHH: Where are you from, and what was it like growing up there?

Freewxrld: I’m from Deerfield Beach Florida C – Land to be exact & gowing up where i’m from was tough you really gotta grow up quick or you’ll be left behind both of my parents are from haiti & moved to deerfield for the most part things are chill but fucked up shit do happen like shootings & shit we lose homies all the time most niggas don’t make it out most niggas go to jail & most niggas get killed I’m just trying to rap & my city where i grew up at groomed me to be the man I am today so I’ll always love them for that.

24HHH: Who were you raised by? Tell us your family situation. Got any siblings?

Freewxrld: I was raised by both of my parents I have a younger brother & i have an older sister I’m the middle child but i lived in a house with alot of family you know cousins uncles grandma auntie everyone & i actually liked it that way & for the most part my little brother impacts my music cause now he’s producing for me expect some crazy shit coming up

24HHH: What age did you start making music?

Freewxrld: I started writing poems when I was 11 but started recording when I was 15 thats when I met my homie from the jump BG in gym class we had a mutual homeboy who had gym too BG came up to me & ask if i rap i said yeah & he said if I want we could record at his spot I said hell yeah & history was made the first song I ever freestyled too was Rocko – Dis Morning, good times haha

24HHH: What inspired you to pursue making music?

Freewxrld: Its crazy to say but when I started writing it was just a hobby but as i got older i’d say its people that inspire me the feeling of satisfaction that people can relate to what I’m talking about that feelings like a drug it makes me wanna be  better & make more people relate to me, I made a song after a bad break up in high school & I remember after releasing it through myspace I had random people walk up to me & just say damn my nigga I feel you I felt that way too so its really the validation & the love for music that makes me pursue it

24HHH: What artists/producers do you work with? Or rubbed shoulders with?

Freewxrld: I work with my nigga hailing from toronto Talen Ted thats my main producer & my homeboy but I’ve also worked with Nyasha, Jstaffz, Chris Calor, & dylan Mills production wise theirs a few people i missed cause i get beats on the daily but as far as artist’s I work with Legendsgang artists & also fuck with my nigga AZOJ from the NBD Even got a joint wit my nigga Chaz in new York & planning something with my g’s Frank Castle & Ryshon Jones so be on the look for that

24HHH: What else you got coming out? New Album? or Mixtape/EP?

Freewxrld: I got the mixtape W2F out right now it just dropped in april but as of now I’m working on an album called “LGND” I’m a few songs in already so that should be out real soon.

24HHH: Tell us about your newest single “Hype Beast”, how did you come with that?

Freewxrld: “Hype Beast” man I came up with Hype beast when I kept hearing the same flows & the same beats about the same shit on every song like “Versace” i just got tired of it so i came up with it & prior to a talk I had with AZOJ I knew he was the only other person that would understand where I’m coming from.

24HHH: Any new travel plans, what you got going on?

Freewxrld: As of right now im just doing shows in my city & a few outta town shows tearing the scene up

24HHH: What is the biggest thing to happen in your career?

Freewxrld: As of right now being on 24hourhiphop is the biggest thing to happen.

24HHH: Where do you see yourself going in 2014 and how do you plan to separate yourself from the other artist out today to get the recognition you feel you deserve?

Freewxrld: I see myself going to the very top nothing more nothing less I wanna be able to travel the states by the end of the year & I’m a do it by being me & pushing my creative boundaries with music & videos expect alot of videos this year I hooked up with my homie 2ri & we gone kill shit watch out 2014.
