J Drizzle: My name is J Drizzle.

24: Before we get into your music, can you describe your history about how you got into and what inspired you?

J Drizzle: I always wrote a lot when i was younger, long papers. It helped my imagination, I believe my ear Was quickly turned to Dr Dre, Snoop, and Pac, but I also listened to Twista, DMX, Jay-Z, and Biggie.

24: What was the Hip-Hop scene like for you growing up where you’re from?

J Drizzle: I was Born In Oakland, California, so Too Short, E40, and they’re still doing it.

24: What makes you Unique as a artist and different from other rappers out now?

J Drizzle: I have a different style, the energy I bring to any track and I’m willing to go that extra mile and step out the box.

24: Tell us about what you are working on.

J Drizzle: Second album, yet to be titled.

24: What producers have you worked with and who would you like to work with in the future?

J Drizzle: Johnny Juliano and Stomboxx. I would wanna work with Pharrell and Chad, Lex Luger.

24: Are you happy with the feedback you have been getting from people on material you have released?

J Drizzle: Of course, my Peoples show me love, but I am still wanting to expand my brand and music following as a whole.

24: In today’s free download age, what do you need that you don’t to make yourself a household name?

J Drizzle: You gotta stay on the internet. All the new videos, downloads, and links. Your peoples gotta have access, be on the major sites, and just hope they enjoy what they hear.

24: How do you feel about the current state of the Hip-Hop scene?

J Drizzle: Looks great. A lot of young talent and even artist from the 90’s still are relevant today, so it helps as an example.

24: Outside of the music, what else are you currently working on?

J Drizzle: Nothing, just the music.

24: Where do you see yourself going in 2011 and how do you plan to separate yourself from the other artists out today to get the recognition you feel you deserve?

J Drizzle: Honestly, to the top. I’ma work hard, reside in the lab, and keep my engineer on speed dial.
