Introduce yourself. Who are you? Where are you from? What is your background / nationality?

I go by Klass Money, I’m a Miami rapper. Raised in north Miami but I was born in Dominica, which is a Caribbean island, don’t want it to be mistaken for Dominican Republic .

How did you get your Artist name?

I started off with klassic and evolved into Klass money. I remember when I decided to take music seriously I went and tried to trademark Klass , since that’s what I really wanted to run with but then that was taken by a milk company and another nickname I had at the time was Klass money so I ran with that .

What motivated you to get into Music?

I was always a huge fan of rap and started trying to create my own raps at 13 and I just fell in love with music and haven’t stopped yet.

What makes you unique / stand out as an Artist compared to the rest?

I think everyone is unique if you just be yourself and that’s all I’m trying to be, I’m not really too extra and try not to make a scene. I just let the music and hustle speak for itself.

Let our readers know some of the names of people you have worked with?

I’ve had the chance to work with Troy Ave, we got a song called “oh oh” . I’m honestly a fan of Troy so for him to jump on one of my songs was crazy but I’m forever thankful. Besides that I’ve worked with numerous local artists in the city.

What are somethings you would like to achieve and why?

My goal is to have multi platinum selling albums because I feel like until then you’re not huge. I want to be worldwide and touch many as many fans as possible.

What are some past achievement worth mentioning?

I’ve manage to get a song on 99 jamz Radio Station which has been playing for about a year now called Secure The Bag, I’ve accumulated over a million views on YouTube and have done over seas concerts.

On a personal level, how would you describe yourself in detail?

I’m pretty cool, laid back type of person. I like to see people around me winning and trying to focus on executing goals to add value to myself at all times.

What is your latest single? What are you working on?

My latest single is called “Believe The Hype,” I’m currently shooting videos of my last LP and working on a new LP for my fans.

In this music industry, what is something you learned the hard way?

I have learned that you can’t depend on anyone but yourself and have to be self motivated, driven and inspired. Be smart and open minded and always think from a fans prospective

How long have you been doing music? What got you into Music?

I’ve been doing music for about 13 years now. I just started writing as a way to vent and it turned from a hobby to a business.

In 5 years, where do you see yourself in the music industry and why?

I see myself with as an A list artist because I’m working towards it and understand everything takes time, you just have to keep working.

Who were some music influencers you listened to while growing up? What do you remember when you think about them?

I listen to 2 Pac, Biggie, Nas, Jay-z , 50 Cent, Eminem , Trick Daddy I basically listen to everything honestly. I remember looking up to them thinking he’s pretty cool and I can relate. Made me feel good!
