24: Introduce yourself to everyone and let them know where your representing?

Lil Dee: I am the artist and the machine that they call Lil Dee(It’s ya homie Lil Dee!). Representing south Florida, Hollywood to be exact, but repping for all of Broward County. Currently in the DMV as we speak.

24: What do you feel your bringing to the music world and what separates you from the next new artist?

Lil Dee: A distinct sound and style that is unmatched nor duplicated.  I bring the energy and confidence that many artists lack to the microphone and express myself through songs, as opposed to just “Making Music” because it’s the “in” thing to do right now. I can stand here and tell you that I have real hip hop, street records, club bangers, and songs galore but I’d much rather you hear for yourself and you tell me why I’m different.

24: Who were some artist that you would say influence you musically?

Lil Dee: Oh man, I would have to say South Florida legends first and foremost: Uncle Luke, Trick, Ross, then I’d go with Jay Z, Rakim, Nas, Jadakiss, Redman and Meth, Big Daddy Kane and the list would go on and on. But the common denominator was that all these dudes made/make “Good Music“. Even today there are artist that not necessarily influence me but inspire me to strive for greater achievements musically: Brisco, Iceberg, Flo Rida, Wayne, Kanye, Pitbull, The Dream, Raheem Devaughn, and my whole FNFG family.

24: Tell about some the projects your currently working on?

Lil Dee: Currently in the lab creating a classic with my mixtape that is dropping real soon (24hourhiphop.com and 368musicgroup.com) will be the first to drop the mixtape)!Ghostwriting a few projects, and just collaboratively finished the FNFG: Lead By Example mixtape with LCD, Ice The Villain, Mouse, Bp Cooper, C Dot Haynes, DJ Anonymous and DJ Uneek Sound.

24: Who are some of the producers you have been working with and who would you love to work with in the near future?

Lil Dee: The majority of my work has come from LCD aka Mr. Bout Dat Money and I’ve done a few tracks with the homie Kane. As far as producers, all super producers of course but I want to work with anyone that wants to work with me.

24: At a time when the music industry is at an Up & Down state which would you what to sign to an Indie Label or a Major?

Lil Dee: Both have their ups and downs, I’m signing with whatever presents the best situation at the time. The right team and vision, and of course the financial backing. You can do what a major could or would do and probably more and vice versa if a major backs you the right way then the sky is the limit. Whoever has the same vision and limitless approach to my situation then that’s who gets me on the roster.

24: What should the readers look out for from you in 2009?

Lil Dee: More interviews, and internet invasion of your favorite blogs, magazines, radio station and all that. The mixtape is on the way and a couple other avenues that I’m exploring right now will surely have me in the public eye real soon!

24: How can someone find out more about to and check out your music?

Lil Dee: You can always check me on Myspace at www.myspace.com/yblildee I’m on Twitter www.twitter.com/yblildee  the website www.lil-dee.com.

24: Is there anything you want to say to the readers?

Lil Dee: For all my fans, supporters, FNFG family and everyone that has helped me become the person and artist that I have become today “Thank You“. An at the current moment I aint really got too much to say to the haters but I’ll get back to you on that one. It’s your homie Lil Dee!
