We get to also check out his new single "In Too Deep" which is featured off his EP titled Just Me. He also talks to us about his new music along with upcoming mixtapes. Check out what the fam Logan Baumgard had to say and let us know what you think!

24HHH: Introduce yourself to everyone that doesn’t already know who you are?

Logan Baumgard: I'm Logan Baumgard, just a dude with a dream who enjoys to make music! I play Guitar, piano, drums and trumpet, as well as produce, rap, and sing! But my day job is being a normal high school student. I make mainly Hip-hop music but produce pop beats as well!

24HHH: How did you come up with your Artist/Producer name? Tell us about it.

Logan Baumgard: Well this is sort of ridiculous but my whole life I have enjoyed pro-wrestling, so when I was little I wanted my wrestler name to be "Dynamyte" so it just seemed appropriate that I produce under "Dynamyte Beats".  But I wanted to keep my real name for rapping, hopefully it's not too hard to spell!

24HHH: Where are you from, and what was it like growing up there?

Logan Baumgard: I'm from southern Minnesota, I think the biggest thing about growing up in Minnesota is that we didn't have a very strong Hip-Hop family when I started out, which made it difficult to get attention. But now as we speak, Minnesota Hip-Hop is making small moves, but moves nonetheless! Artists like Midwest Selects, Karizma, and Mod Sun are doing BIG things to put us on the map. In fact I'm performing with Midwest Selects and Karizma next month!

24HHH: Who were you raised by? Tell us your family situation. Got any brothers, sisters, or any siblings? Tell us about your childhood, and how it impacted your music?

Logan Baumgard: I didn't grow up like most kids, I had a dad, a mom, and an older brother. But my dad had extreme anger issues and used to beat the living crap out of my mom and I. So when I was in the third grade my mom and dad got divorced. This has had a HUGE impact on why I make music now. Not only is the lyrical content about those situations but I make music to support my mom and I, so one day we can live a stress free life. When I was young, my brother struggled and is still struggling with drug and alcohol abuse, which has also had a big influence on my music. Seeing him and my dad get arrested was very shaping for me, as stated in my song, "Hold On" off my new EP. When I was in the seventh and eighth grade I was badly bullied which has had the biggest influence on my music!

24HHH: What age did you start making music?

Logan Baumgard: I've made music or at least been interested in it my entire life. I can't remember a day I haven't made, or listened to music! But after I was bullied I started getting back to those people through my music, letting out that stress with a good beat or a good rap. Or just simply playing the keys for a couple hours.

24HHH: What inspired you to pursue making music?

Logan Baumgard: Seeing all these people working a 9-5 till they die just wasn't for me. School isn't really my thing either, so having this love for music my entire life gave me a dream to pursue something that pays without being an A and B student or working a 9-5. I'm only a teenager but already have made some notable money off my music, which is an incredible feeling! I can't wait for the future, and getting looks from major people in the music industry gives me confidence that I can do this, and support myself.

24HHH: What artists/producers do you work with? Or rubbed shoulders with?

Logan Baumgard: 'I've been very fortunate to work with some local independent artists. But mostly I've been getting looks from some big national artists such as DannyP, Sammy Adams, and Midwest Selects. I've sent beats to some big artists like them also, which has been an incredible feeling, a reason to continue making this music I make!

24HHH: What else you got coming out? New Album? or Mixtape/EP?

Logan Baumgard: Just a couple weeks ago I released a project entitled " Just Me" EP, an eight track free album available for digital download! I'm really proud of this project, I think it lets people know who I am and what my sound in Hip-Hop is gonna be like in the future. I also have a pretty lengthy beat tape that can be found on my SoundClick page! I'm currently working on two mixtapes for this spring and summer, so be on the look out for lots of new music from me! Also an iTunes single in early summer or late spring wouldn't be out of the question.

24HHH: Tell us about your newest single "In Too Deep", how did you come up with that, share us the story?

Logan Baumgard: My new single, "In Too Deep" is a kind of dark, incredibly produced track that was produced by Spence Mills. I wrote it on a lonely Tuesdaynight. I was feeling fed up with the world around me, my friends and people close to me slipping away. I think it shows my determination to make it, I also like the end of the song, cause it shows how I realize how far into the game I am, but I'm not giving up. This single is a bonus track off my EP! So definitely go check it out!

24HHH: Any new travel plans, what you got going on?

Logan Baumgard: I'm performing with many amazing Minnesota artists in Burnsville, Minnesota next month. This will begin a long list of shows in the close future! Come catch me on a stage near you!

24HHH: What is the biggest thing to happen in your career?

Logan Baumgard: The biggest thing that's happened to me in my career… man, that's tough, many things have been big to me in the last year or so, but the biggest thing would probably being able to put on a show! I can't wait to meet my local fans and meet some amazing artists, next month!

24HHH: Where can people find you?

Logan Baumgard: Basically you can find me anywhere on the web, Youtube, SoundCloud, SoundClick, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter! – @DynamyteBeats

24HHH: Where do you see yourself going in 2014 and how do you plan to separate yourself from the other artist out today to get the recognition you feel you deserve?

Logan Baumgard: I see myself going far this year, I hope to get some hardcore fans plus some solid out of state shows. What separates me from other artists today is, I don't have those childish lyrics and rhymes. My songs tell a story and are lyrically deep. I also produce better then 99% of the guys in the industry today. I have creative trap beats, not that repetitive sound you hear almost everywhere. My next projects are next level so be on the look out for those! But don't overlook my beat tape and my EP!

24HHH: Any last words or shout outs?

Logan Baumgard: I'd like to shout out my true supporters who really believe in what I'm doing! I wouldn't be able to anything without you guys! Also my best friend and hype man, Tristan, he truly likes my music and is the first one to hear it all, I don't know what I'd do without him having my back in this crazy music industry. Catch him on stage with me in the coming months! – @LilT_represent I also wanna thank 24HourHipHop for giving me this opportunity! #DynnmyteNation
