24: Introduce yourself to all the readers and
bring them update to date with who LT is and let them know where your repping?

LT: Hello
world, you chatting with New England’s most appealing artist “SupaStar LT” the
one ladies leave with in a slit second. First mixtape “The Birth Of LT” sold
7,500 mixtapes in New England. Leading to my second mixtape “The Determination”
which sold 9,000 copes across New England. My latest “The People Focus”
features Rick Ross, Cassidy, Freeway, and Omillio Sparks. Hosted by DJ Clinton
Sparks Mr. Get Familiar twice. Predicting it sells 15,000 across New England.
Boston is my hometown where inspirational music makes a difference and I’m
preparing to introduce us to the world.

24: Tell me where do you get your work ethic
from because compared to most up and coming artist your actually making moves
taking your records to local record shops on a consistent basis and networking
with DJ’s and Artist in the game?

LT: Jay-Z, Lil
Wayne, Rick Ross, Kanye and Fabolous. I would always compare myself to people
like that. The best and the first thing I noticed with those artist was there
work ethic, their grind and determination to be successful. These guys would be
in the studio for days straight putting out tons of music. They would be
present at all of the main events. With having that said the only way I could
compare myself to the best is by trying to be better. I stay in the studio all
day, all night, flooding the streets with tons of music. I try to be at all the
events, shaking hands rubbing shoulders. To me that’s the difference between
who takes there career serious and someone who don’t.

24: How did you link up with Clinton Sparks?

LT:
Opportunity presents itself and I was there to take it. Meaning, when Clinton
made himself accessible I reached out to see him. I knew with him being such a
big DJ known worldwide he would be helpful to my career the linking process was
pretty simple, shout out to Sparks!

24: You have worked with Cassidy on “Don’t
Try” and Freeway on “Philly To Bean Town” which is something a
couple of artist signed have not done so what was it like working with both
artist and holding your own bar for bar?

LT: I mean
working with these artist was a blessing. It gave me the lead way to build
relationships as well as showcase my skills. I also wanted to step out of the
box of what everybody else was doing in my town. You know do things a little
different as far as holding my own bar for bar. It’s like a Basketball player
who goes to practice with some out of state boys who have built a name for
themselves. The only thing I could do was do me so that’s what I did on both
records. Let me give a shout out to the boy Cassidy and Freeway.

24: What artist would you like to get into the
studio with that you have not yet worked with?

LT: Wow man, I
mean I’m totally down for good global selling music. Bow Wow, T-Pain, Bun B,
Scarface, Snoop, Mary J. Blidge, Nas, Jermaine Dupri, Young Jeezy, Akon, DJ
Khaled, Fabolous. Producers like Timbaland, Dr.Dre and I cant forget Jay-Z. I
mean this list would probably walk out the room and go up the stairs. There is
a bunch of people I look forward to working with in due time.

24: Since Benzino not many artist have actually
came out of Boston so tell me how has the hometown support been so far?

LT: Great, the
momentum is up and Boston has been really supportive of me. From the fans first
and foremost to the Radio Stations to the Local Retail stores, Clothing stores,
barbershops, High Schools, Hair Salons, Jailhouses to the Projects. I mean you
name it chances are the support level is there the way it is when I release my
mixtapes. They sell out of the local retail stores in days. Lol, I’m definitely
looking forward to giving my town the shine it deserves as well as letting them
know I fully support them back.

24: Describe your sound?

LT: Global,
Appealing, Reality, Flashy, Pain, Charismatic and it is all still done in a
commercial way. I’m an artist who has been perfecting my craft for so long it
was important for me to be versatile. To be able to switch up the flow and slow
it down. The message I try to get across is to motivate the strugglers, the
Hustlers, the Kids that come from nothing but not scared to follow their dreams
to have something. Let my town know that they have someone they can depend!

24: Who in the music industry would you want to
have a similar career to?

LT: There is a
bunch of artist that I really respect and look up to but to answer that
question nobody. I want my career to turn out however things are supposed to
turn out for me. I don’t want to drive down no one else’s highway. I want to
follow my destiny, dreams and Legacy so I can tell my kids one day what I stood
for.

24: What’s some of the things you have been
working on lately?

LT: Working on
“The People Focus” mixtape/street album and I also just played a role in a
movie “Ex$pendable” which features Michael Blackson, Sindy Carter, Gary Sturgis,
Omillio Sparks, Taral Hicks, and Gillie Da Kid. I have an endorsement deal with
Mocospace.com. Which is to promote and market artist on mobile devices. Also
look forward to hearing me in the Source, Hip Hop Weekly, XXL, AllHipHop.com,
Sohh.com, Foundation Magazine, etc I’m working man.
