24: Describe your style?

Lydia Caesar: My Style, Hmmmm, (lol) that’s hard. My style
is definitely unique. I march to the beat of my own drum.
Despite what the rest of the world is doing. I’m a colorful person, and so is
my style. I guess I would describe it as Funkyretrochic.

24: Who are some of your musical influences?

Lydia Caesar:
Michael Jackson, Lauyrn Hill, Celine Dion, Stevie Wonder, and Whitney Houston.
Those are the legends. Newer artists that inspire me are, John Legend, definitely
John Mayer, he is crazy dope. His writing is superb, definitely on another level,
better than most artists today.

24: If you had to choose just one of your songs to perform
for LA Reid, which song would you choose and why?

Lydia Caesar: My single Melody Love. It’s such a great song.
I perform this song at rap shows with mainly dudes there, they love
it. I perform it at R&B shows, they love it, at weddings, love it,
older crowds, love it, radio station WBLS Easter Egg Hunt show, the kids loved
it. Across the board, I get so much love from this record. I think LA Reid
would love it too.

24: As far as your music career where do you see yourself in
the next 2 years?

Lydia Caesar:
Definitely an album in. I’m releasing my Debut in February, so stay tuned. Hopefully it will have some major
backing. Also writing for people and having songs placed. I expect all this in
the very near future; I’m working so hard. I believe God is going to honor my
hard work and dedication.

24: What’s a Lydia Caesar performance like because a lot of
times an artist sounds great on a record then you go to a show or
concert and the artist lets you down?

Lydia Caesar:
One word best describes my live performance. REAL. You won’t see any gimmicks, no fakeness, just raw Lydia.
I’m totally myself when I’m on stage. I can’t help it, I laugh, make jokes, my
diva side comes out, my sassiness, my goofiness. And I can sing live,
so you will never be disappointed. I sound like my CD if not better. Of
course I make mistakes, but that’s what’s ill about live shows, every
element, even the flaws. Sharing my music, and my words with people
is one of my greatest joys, I love performing live.

24: What are some of the projects you have been working on
lately and who are some of the producers you have been working with?

Lydia Caesar: I
work with MotezArt, he’s the greatest. He’s my MD. I’m working with the
beatganghazz, sonny heights. I’ve also recorded to platinum producers tracks
for pub companies to shop, like, Justice League, Tommy Gunzz, and Chase to name
a few.

24: Which artist would you love to do a duet with if
possible and why?

Lydia Caesar: Jonh Meyer as I explained earlier. His music
is so amazing. I’d LOVE to work with him. Also, Kanye West. I like
him so much. I remixed his ‘Stronger’ record, check it out. I’d love
the opportunity to really work with him.

24: What’s next in line for Lydia Caesar?

Lydia Caesar: My album Feb 08!! Lol honestly that’s what’s
next.
