24: Introduce yourself to
our online audience who may not be familiar with who you are yet.

Chris: My name is Chris Greene,
CEO of Mind On Money Entertainment, co-founder of Greenhouse Music Group.

Guss: My name is Gussi Guss, CEO
of Greenhouse Music Group, co-founder of Mind On Money Entertainment.

24: Briefly tell us who were
some of your influences in getting into the music industry?

Guss: Basically Cash Money. From when I was a little jit;
15, 16, growing up seeing other young niggaz doin’ they thing. That taught me
entrepreneurship right there.

24: Being brothers, what is the
concept of having two separate labels instead of one?

Chris: The concept behind Mind On
Money Entertainment is a promotions company for Greenhouse, looking for
distribution for the artist we promote.

Guss: Right now we’re just trying to push our artists as
hard as we can as see if we can get these labels to recognize some young
artists trying to come up and take a chance basically. We got the production,
we got the artists, we got everything behind us we just need that push. If we
can get the suits to help us out, that would be luv.

24: How are some of the
artists signed to the label?

Guss: Right now we goin’ heavy
with Yung Rich, the first artist from Greenhouse Music Group/Mind On Money. We
got Fiya, I-Wayne’s cousin. He’s a reggae artist signed to the label. We got
Precision, our producer. He did the
“Wiggin” beat for C.O.A. Legacy. We got Supreme from up
north and then you got us; Gussy and Money Green.

24: How would you describe the sound of
Greenhouse/Money On Mind?

Guss: Music for the streets.
Talking about everyday struggles in everyday life. When your in that studio,
whatever come to your head, that’s what you put down on that paper and pad.

24: What made your labels stand
out amongst the independent labels that have come before you? Such as Cash
Money, Suave House, Rap-A-Lot, etc.

Guss: We have an island
influence. I’m Jamaican so growing up, so basically hip-hop derived from us
with the mixing and so etc. so we try to incorporate that into the music. Do
something different while promoting cultural diversity. You got Haitian rappers
now, Jamaican rappers, not just solely American artists. The game is changing.

24: What labels have you approached
as far as acquiring distribution for your label and roster of artists?

Guss: We’ve approached a few but
I don’t want to say any names but we’ve gotten some feedback from a few possible
investors.

24: What type of feedback
have you been getting from the general public on the music that you’ve been
putting out?

Guss: A lot of good feedback. As I
said, we young artists just going hard. Yung Rich, Broward County supports him
as well as Gunrise. We have a lot of talent coming out. The hood just loves
young niggaz just tryna do they thing. We just pushing harder and harder to do
this.

24:  In today’s free download age, what
do you need that you don’t have to make yourself a household name?

Guss: More music. Just to keep flooding
the market with something different.

24: Hearing the music that’s out now, do you feel like the music
you put out is relatable to the public now or something that may take time to
catch on?

Chris: We put out music about what’s going on in the
streets. Things that are really happening in our life right now so it’s
definitely relatable.

24: What are you currently working
on?

Chris: Just building our brand as
far as Production, management, working on my music, I’m going to school and
working on my mixtape.

Guss: We just focused on pushing
Yung Rich and our artists. Tryna get this name out more and more. Look out for
Yung Rich’s single
In The Hood as well.

Chris: We got the mixtape coming, Future of Florida
and we are also shooting the video for Yung Rich’s single,
In The Hood“, both coming soon.
