24:When did you decide you wanted to become an artist?

Muffy: I have been an artist my whole life, then I decided I
wanted to share my music with the world about two years ago. My definition of
an artist is someone who is inspired by the world around them to create what
ever reality they desire and I think were are all artist.

24: What are some of the things you feel like you bring to
the table as an artist?

Muffy: Love. I bring a new energy and a love for music,
which I think is missing right now.

24: Who are some current singers that inspire you?

Muffy: EryKah Badu, BJork, Joi, Beyounce, Esthero, Power
Puff Girls, Kelis, Madonna, Gwennie, Gwen Stafani and many others inspire me.
Every experience I have inspires me.

24: Describe your style of music because I think you are
creating your own lane?

Muffy: My style is like a mutation the music scientist must
dissect before we classify it into a style. It’s universal music, reactionary
music some thing new mixed with an old school twist.

24: How did you get the attention of Coach K which
eventually ended up in him managing you?

Muffy: Being a fun party girl in Atlanta. I caught him out
side of a Club called MJQ’s and gave him a demo which was put together by a
fellow artist and friend of mine, Fiona Simone. Coach hit me up in two days
later and has been on my side ever since. He’s an excellent person even without
all his super connects. He is a super person and he has taken me to another
level mentally.

24: A lot of artist
feel like they deserve to be in the music industry but then when it comes to
actually making songs, networking and putting that ground work that goes into a
successful project. It seems like a lot of artist don’t want to put in the blood,
sweat & tears so tell me some of the things you have been doing in order to
meet your ultimate goal?

Muffy: The hardest thing have been doing is waiting and
having patience, it’s the hard work! For a true artist creating and manifesting
your dream onto a CD is nature. Networking comes to you, even if you aren’t
that much of a people person. If your art is true people will gravitate to you
no matter what attention goes where energy flows. Tell the universe you want it
and it will figure the rest out for you. The hard part is being patient and
trusting that God got your back, but you got to believe! Also that doesn’t mean
sit and wait for it, it just means everything you have to do will come to you
once your heart is true. (Lol) Did I even answer the question (giggles)?

24: What would be the perfect situation for you as far as a
record label right now?

Muffy: A label who cares about the long- term goal. A label
that will be willing to grow with me. I have so much to learn as I create and
the universe has made it to where we never stop learning ever not even when we
die. So I would like to be somewhere that Loves me as an artist unconditionally
through the ups and downs.

24: Who are some artist’ or producers that you want to work
with in the near future?

Muffy: Since I must bloom where I’m planted I would like to
work with some producers here in Atlanta like Bangladesh, Hit Boi, Head Roc,
Jazze Pha, Willie Will, Pollow Da Don, J-Fab for starters. Another super star
Producer I’m interested to work with is RZA; I think I can get that cartoon
action I’m looking for working with him.

24: Where should the readers go to check out your music and
find out more about you?

Muffy: They can go to www.myspace.com/muffymommy for
updates on shows, new songs, or new videos.

24: Anything you want to promote?

Muffy: Everyone showing me all the support Muffy Loves You!
