Munchie talks to us about what he has going on with his music career. We also get to check out his current projects and also hear about past and future projects as well. 24HHH: Introduce yourself to everyone that doesn’t already know who you are?
Munchie: Hey my name is Munchie I’m 22 years old
24HHH: How did you come up with your Artist name? Tell us about it.
Munchie: Munchie was a name that I had since childhood and I ran with it.
24HHH: Where are you from, and what was it like growing up there?
Munchie: I’m from Nashville and I’m in Memphis to go to college.
24HHH: Who were you raised by? Tell us your family situation. Got any brothers, sisters, or any siblings? Tell us about your childhood, and how it impacted your music?
Munchie: I was raised by my mom in a single parent household just me and my brother and I also have an older sister. My farther has just recently started to be in my life. Growing up was cool we were broke but my mama made sure we never knew we was. And my music really wasn’t impacted by my childhood except the fact that I was ran over at age 5.
24HHH: What inspired you to pursue making music?
Munchie: It was my brother that got me making music. I remember at age 10 he was driving us home and the radio was on and he said “Go ahead and rap.” I replied “There’s people already rapping on it.” Then he said “Fuck them folks and do what you do.” It was history ever since.
24HHH: What artists/producers do you work with? Or rubbed shoulders with?
Munchie: I mostly work with an artist named Smilez shout out to him and his mixtape Fat Boy Go Hard coming out soon.
24HHH: What else you got coming out? New Album? or Mixtape/EP?
Munchie: Right now me and Smilez working on a new video, can’t really reveal it yet. But my next mixtape The Color is Black is coming soon on datpiff.com

24HHH: Tell us about your newest single “Livin’ Life”, how did you come up with that, share us the story?
Munchie: My newest single is Livin’ Life Ft. Sip. On the Scared No Fear mixtape. And with this track I just wanted to make a fun track talking about enjoying life. Because its to many people that aren’t.
24HHH: Any new travel plans, what you got going on?
Munchie: I got no travel plans at the moment all I’m focusing on is finishing these projects I’m working on and giving to the masses.
24HHH: What is the biggest thing to happen in your career?
Munchie: The biggest thing in my career so far is the response from people on how they like my music. I’m a humble guy so that means a lot to me when somebody says their a fan or they like my music.

24HHH: Where do you see yourself going in 2014 and how do you plan to separate yourself from the other artist out today to get the recognition you feel you deserve?
Munchie: Where I see myself in 2014…. basically making my family and friends proud and try to be an inspiration. And what separates me from others is that for most they doing for themselves but for me I’m doing it for everybody else. I’m doing it for my love ones the ones closes to me.

Munchie: And of course shout out to the homie Smilez, Corey Cash, Reezie, Holmes, My sister, brother, mom, whole family, AP, Heavy and everybody that been fucking with me I’m riding with ya.
