24: Before we get into your music, can you describe your history about how you got into it and what inspired you?

NhT Boyz: @ndknht: My uncle Wondaboy had a studio and beats and let us come and record daily and pushed us to go all the way wit it.

@nhtknowley: I have been around music my whole life. I wanted 2 try it in see if I had what it takes 2 be great. I started with my niggas, dat’s how ima finish.

@yangnhtchippass: Seein’ Nikatine and Knawley fit game rappin’ made me want to b a part of it.

@nhtboyz: NhT is life; we’re family and put it all on the line for each other.

24: What was the Hip-Hop scene like for you growing up where you’re from?

NhT Boyz: @ndknht: when I was growin’ up it was G-Funk and Gangsta music, Too $hort, Dru Down, 3xKrazy, E-40, Mac Dre, Death Row records.

@nhtknowley: GANGSTA! Real Rap, I grew up n the 90’s. Listening to 2Pac, Snoop, 3XkRAZY, Too Short etc. What they were rappin’ about was goin’ on in my city.

@yangnhtchippass: Very strict and hands on… Doin u is the only way to get heard out here because it’s more like competition than unity

24: What makes you Unique as an artist and different from other rappers out now?

NhT Boyz: We’re 3 different rappers that tell 1 continuous story with 3 different styles.

@ndknht: I bring a mixture of witty wordplay, real rap, and intelligent vocabulary topped off with incredible energy.

@nhtknowley: Ima NhT Boy. My different delivers, rhyme patterns and how I attack the beat. I don’t say what’s trending or make up stories. Everything I rap about is what I will do or have done.

@yangnhtchippass: I have my own style and a different way to approach each song… I think big an a lot of artist tend to b satisfied with 1 hit.

24: Tell us about what you are working on.

NhT Boyz: We recently dropped Yangland and 420 Project deluxe, performing city to city state to state, recently dropped a video for Freeway off of Yangland, dropping videos for Yangland, Late Night Lovin, Robbery, and Murder Rate soon.

24: What producers have you worked with and who would you like to work with in the future?

NhT Boyz: Wondaboy, YPontheBeat, Rizzy and Money, Architekz Beatz,G Koop, Jeffro, Traxmillion, Marcus Garvey, and Erk tha Jerk.

@ndknht: I wanna work with any producer who got raw beats.

@nhtknowley: Mannie Fresh, Lil Jon, and any DOPE producer who ready 2 work with the Yang.

@yangnhtchippass: In the future, ? Harry Fraud, Khaled, Diddy, and whoever else comes out hard.

24: Are you happy with the feedback you have been getting from people on material you have released?

NhT Boyz: YANG all the love we have been receiving is remarkable, from other artists and industry people, but our supporters are so amazing, much respect to our supporters.

24: In today’s free download age, what do you need to do to make yourself a household name?

NhT Boyz: By releasing constant QUALITY music and videos, stay humble, never stop workin, always show love to yo supporters, and be original above all.

24: How do you feel about the current state of the Hip-Hop scene?

NhT Boyz: @yangnhtchippass: Very trendy.. No creativity or originality so we go change it.

@ndknht: I like the opportunity, cause a lot of artists are makin major moves independently, more independence.

@nhtknowley: Very trending, water down, niggas biting other niggas styles. Doesn’t seem real, but on a better note it’s a couple niggas doin they thang n NhT Boyz goin krazy, shit is changing. Real niggas n the building!

24: Outside of the music what else are you currently working on?

NhT Boyz: More videos, a movie, NhT Gear, Rockit Scientist Clothing, nhtboyzmusic.com

24: Where do you see yourself going in 2012 and how do you plan to separate yourself from the other artist out today to get the recognition you feel you deserve?

NhT Boyz: To the top, by keep goin’ hard on every song, stayin’ original, and producing constant QUALITY music.
