Introduce yourself to everyone and let them know where you’re from and how long
you have been rapping?

Capo: What up world, this ya nigga “Capito (The N.O. Capo)”!
Live and direct from New Orleans, ya heard me.  I’ve
been rapping since I knew how to count money you know and that was in grade
school!

24: Who
are some of your musical influences?

Capo: I mean anybody who made it from nothing to something
is an influence to me.

24: A lot
of new artist feel like they have what it takes talent wise to get in the game
but talent is only one part so tell me a little about your work ethic in the
studio and your day to day grind?

Capo: I mean to be honest blood. I’m only new to a few so
that separates me from a lot of artist. I been around learning the
business side of things before I was rapping ya dig. Since Weezy had
me in the studio, like everyday I got use to it and the rest is history.

24: What’s
you situation with Young Money are you signed to them?

Capo:  I’m not signed right now I’m a free agent. I
don’t have a rap deal. Young Money is my family and I been down since day one
feel me.

24: Tell
me what you think you bring to the music world with your songs and style?

Capo: I bring some new “Fly Shit”. A Swagger you won’t
see in most rappers. My Songs are based on my real life. An I live every bit of
what I’m talking on these beats, believe that.

24:Tell me
about your mixtape “City Under Siege” hosted by DJ Khaled and what
are some other projects you have been working on that the readers should know
about?

Capo: The City Under Siege Project is something I been
working on Since The Hurricane. The homie DJ Khaled Blessed me, shouts out to
Khaled on that and the whole Mi- Yayo 305, ya dig. It’s not your average
mixtape it’s all original beats and I Put it together it as if its an LP or an
album. The streets loving it. They want more and I’m doing a lot of songs
and mixtapes with various artists like Ya Boy, Rabbi, and Currency. I got
some Songs with Weezy too, hopefully its gone make The Carter 3.

24: What
was the last album you bought and thought to yourself like damn I have to step
up my game a little?

Capo: Nothing recently and to be honest I never thought that
way before. I listen to a lot of music and niggaz don’t have anything on me.

24: Tell
me about the producers you have been working with and who would you like to
work with in the future?

Capo: I’ve been working with a few in house Producers. The
homie E Digitul, Raw Tunez, DJ Damo who does a lot of Production for
Devin the Dude and Scarface. My good friend Mike Dean Who does all my mixing
and mastering for me. I got Oddz Endz and my man Develop too because I like new
shit and different sounds. In the Future I just want to work with Sade ya
heard me!
