24HHH: How did you come up with your Artist name?
NoMercy: NoMercyCamp was inspired through and for our fans and supporters. NoMercy is to remind us to never have limits, to have nomercy and break every boundary and limit. The CAMP is everyone who supports us, we consider us one big family and 1 big camp.
24HHH: Where are you from, and what was it like growing up there?
NoMercy: We were born in Haiti, raised in Miami . So neither place was easy, but it taught us how to survive.
24HHH: Who were you raised by? Tell us your family situation. Got any brothers, sisters, or any siblings? Tell us about your childhood, and how it impacted your music?
NoMercy: We were raised by our mom and dad, and the only word to describe our family is big. Sometimes we had to live with family members but it brought us closer as a family. It made us want to get out of the struggle 7 times as much, and our dad would always tell us be your own boss. So we took something we loved, and decided to generate something no one can ever take away from us our music.
24HHH: What age did you start making music?
NoMercy: We started making music in middle school, using a little computer mic with a sock on it to try to make it sound as clean as possible. We had multiple A&R’s write us but our mom made sure our education was done first, and everything else after so we continued music as we finished school.
24HHH: What inspired you to pursue making music?
NoMercy: Music was just something we did, we were even in the band in middle school. Every year that we went to our home land Haiti and seen the carnivals or festivals, it would make us want to come back and do something different.
24HHH: What artists/producers do you work with? Or rubbed shoulders with?
NoMercy: ZK Banks is one of the best producers we are working with he produced one of our hottest tracks called “YOLO”, along with J.Staffz from Ontario. We also have worked with DJ Tek Chance and the crew, and Blue from Pretty Ricky we’ve done some work in the studio with and have more work with him coming. Be on the lookout for bigger projects on the way with different producers.
