24: Introduce yourself to everyone that doesn’t already know who you are.

-Yo what they do, this yo boy Reese aka Reese Head aka 1/4 of “Tha 4” reporting live from Lil Haiti… Im 20 years old and I am an up and coming Rapper/Producer/Recording Engineer… I do it all, hahaha…

24: Before we get into your music, can you describe your history about how you got into the industry and what inspired you?

-When I was younger, my dad was the lead guitarist of a Haitian band so naturally the love for music was in me, so it’s like my destiny. But to get in the game wasn’t as easy as I thought. It’s a lot of politics and it seemed like the odds were against me, but I had a group of real niggas behind me, especially Pat and Young Fresha. They got the track to Dj Meat who was really the only Dj willing to play and go innnn on it. So with Street Connect Djs behind the record, they had no choice but to let me in, hahaha… Shouts out to Street Connect Djs and South Side Djs..

24: Have you ever felt like too much time passes in the game where you have to make it and that window is closing?

-To tell you the truth, I feel like good music is timeless, so the window will never close on that.

24: As of right now, who in the industry would you say you listen to on a regular and would probably like to work with in the near future?

-On a regular… I would have to say Drake. In the near future I would like to work with artists like Ricky Rozay Ross, Jimmy Dade and Roscoe Dash(but just for a hook, hahaha).. and Producers like Kevin “KE On Tha Track” Erondu

24: In retrospect, being a songwriter, would you consider writing songs for any of them if the opportunity presented itself?

-Of course, why not.. In fact, I got beats and reference tracks for singers as well as rappers.

24: What was your inspiration for the hit single DHATT?

-Well one day Lucky (the girl featured on the track) came to me with the idea of a song called Dhatt. At first I didn’t really like the idea to much, so I was making fun of it but in the process of doing that, it turned out to be a hit, so I went to the studio the same night and made the beat, fixed up the hook, we dropped our verses and came out with a BANGER!!! Dhatt!!

24: Are you happy with the feedback you’ve been getting from the songs you’ve released so far?

-Yeah, the feedback is great. Theres not a club that I go to and don’t hear “Dhatt”. The other day somebody told me my song is probably the #1 ringtone in Florida. With that being said, I ain’t no star yet, theres always room for improvement.

24: You have a buzz slowly building now with DHATT. How are you going to keep it going?

-Im going to keep grinding hard, making these hits and doing these shows up and down Florida and get my face and music into these other states..

24: You embraced the internet from the beginning of your career when other artists were still focusing on magazines and radio. Do you feel like you were ahead of the curve?

-I mean we are in a technoloy age, so 6-Deep Entertainment and I felt like its only right to target where most people now a days spend most of their time. We wanted to reach people at a much larger scale, you feel me.

24: Where do you see yourself going in 2010?

-Doing big things and going to new hieghts with “Tha 4”

In today’s free download age, what do you need that you don’t have to make yourself a household name?

-A Distribution Deal, lol. or a bigger outlet to reach more people on a larger scale.

What are you currently working on?

-Hahaha, I was waiting for this question. As of right now, I’m currently in a new group called “Tha 4”. This group includes J-Beats, Young Fresha, Pat and I and we are pushing a New Street Single called “Trampoline Neck Game”!! We are working on a mixtape which is coming real soon, so look out for that. I guarantee its going to be something epic, something you never seen before. Im talkin about Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and Lebron “King” James epic. Dhatt!!!
