24: You signed with Coast 2 coast mixtapes for a digital. Care to explain a little more about that?

Tone Trump: Basically, what that is a situation linked up with the people from Coast to Coast and they flew to New York from Portland to do some music with some East Coast artist and I was one of the artist. We ended up having good Chemistry so we put out the digital album which is available everywhere. It’s called ‘Trump Life’ with all original music. Classic!

24: You named the album after your reality show. How many episodes are you in?

Tone Trump:I leaked two to the internet. I just got a deal for them joints so we held back. We bout unload I got six more down already. I got a six webisode deal with a particular site and we got two sites what’s I’m kinda like sitting for. We bout relaunch that. The episodes are done i got footage from the bet awards, all different types of places and different shows we bout to unload that. Everything is about a check , i worked to the point i given enough stuff away so I’m getting paid for the stuff i be working so hard on. We branded the name with the Reality Show. So its only right we called the digi album the same thing. Cause they know the name and respect it.

24: For those who don’t know, tell them where they can join the wave?

Tone Trump: The first episode was on worldstarhiphop.com it was onsmash.com. They can go on myspace.com/tonetrump and also on my website Topknotchwreck.com and they keep up with all the webisodes and they getting bigger and better. The first couple I was in Miami shout out to whole 305 that’s my second home. The second episode I ran to New York which is real close to Philly. I took them Philly radio stations. So I just try to get them in trump life which is my life. Now its going to be more in depth. You gonna see me being a father, you gonna see me helping my community, you gonna to see me at the studio you gonna see the whole nine. I ain’t holding nothing back they gonna see everything

24: What should people expect on the album?

Tone Trump: The album is well rounded i went in. Right now the single is running all over the world ” How I’m Living” Shout out to 24hourhiphop.com yall one of the first people to put that up. I got joints on there for the ladies i got joints on there for the gangtas its well rounded album. Something on there everybody Its a beautiful thing. I got some cuts that didn’t make the album but I’m get them out as bonuses. There real big records there’s something on there for anybody. Whatever music you like there’s something for you.

24: Any feature collaboration?

Tone Trump: I got a couple collabos. I want to introduce my artist. I got own company Top Notch, Inc. So i got two of my artist on there, i got Roscoe P Coldchain, I got Jolly Green from Zoe Pound on there, Red Rum 718 from Cali,K Boy on there from Cali. I’m just working on with all the new blood and all the new energy and trying work with people up at the same point as me bout to kick this door down I ain’t really want to go reach for too many people or people i don’t deal with on a personal level. Most people on the album are like brothers to me from all over the world.

24: What’s the production looking like?

Tone Trump: I got some heavy hitters on there. I got my man Dilemma on there, he did a joint for Maino on his album. I got young kid from Atlanta named Non stop he signed to Akon he got like 4-5 joints on there. I got Steve Morales who sold 50 million records he got a joint on there. I got Siram who did Pop bottles and other records for Lil wayne and Baby. Danny Gamble thats Kenny Gamble’s son you know his pedigree is amazing. Its a bunch of people who plaques on they wall and sold millions of records.

24: What sets you apart from the others?

Tone Trump: I got the streets talking. The two biggest things you gotta have are the streets and internet I got both in a head lock. I got one in my right one in my left arm. I got the internet rocking with me that’s why we on the phone and the streets ain’t no denying my street presence the footage dont lie. I took niggas to Lil Haiti, I took niggas to South Central, Southside Chicago, and West Philly. I’m going to keep taking them to these places and take them there with my jewelry on and I don’t have no security guard. I don’t bring no cops with me, none of that bullshit these faggot rappers do. I go and I touch the person, that’s what separates me from a lot these niggas. You don’t just see me on your websites and Worldstar you see me on your block you see me in your hood.

24: Success you gained so far has been good look. What do you credit that to?

Tone Trump: First and foremost I give all credit to God. I think everything is God’s plan. It ain’t never this person. It’s about God. I got a great mom, I got to credit her too. Other than that, just hard work and dedication, ain’t nobody ever give me shit. Niggas been trying to black ball me niggas been hating since i started this shit and I just keep pushing and setting goals and keep hitting them. My motto is niggas is customers get money stay positive, no matter what. I thank God and something good happens, I thank God if something bad happens, I thank God. Everything is in God’s will

24: You’ve done a lot at the indie level. Is there a reason you haven’t gone major?

Tone Trump: Honestly, that’s coming for some of the things I refuse to be another statistic, I want a situation. I want to cause enough pandemonium where I can go dictate certain things and be signed. I come from a city where a lot dudes got signed but not in a boss situation. I got my own company. I’ve sold more mixtapes then a lot of dudes sold albums and that’s not to be disrespectful. I’ll be able to put my mixtapes sells next to major label artist albums. I watched dudes come out and sell 4,000 the first week and 18,000 the second week. I drop a mixtape in my city I do 5 stacks in Philly alone. They’re gone the first day and these niggas on labels doing 5,000 a week or a month. My thing is I want to pick what I want and have the building work for me. I don’t want to work for Def Jam I want Def Jam to work for me or any label, whoever I deal with. That’s why you see different situations win and lose. You got certain dudes and just get put out and they lose and you got certain dudes where that machine is with you, working for you and behind, and you can’t lose. That’s the situation I’m looking for.

24: Last time we interviewed they were on the tattoo’s you had. How much do you have now?

Tone Trump: I don’t even know. I try to get tatted every week. My whole upper body is pretty much covered. My mom is begging me not to do nothing else to my face. I’m bout to go crazy on my legs with it. It’s something I love to do. Shout out to Matt, he up in North Jersey, he probably the best in the East Coast. I’m getting real shit; I ain’t going to tattoos party getting $50 pieces I’m getting $2,500 pieces. I was doing this shit when it wasn’t cool, now its a fad. It’s an artistic way to believe in your self. Do something you believe in, don’t do nothing that’s hot for the summer, you’ll be looking dumb next summer. I’ll be lying if I gave you a number, it’s probably in the hundreds.

24: Any last words?

Tone Trump: Shout out to 24hourhiphop.com; shout out to Jay Carter, Johnny Pen, Nina, everybody from 24hourhiphop.com. Ya’ll been fucking with me since day one and I appreciate that. Ya’ll the people, I swear to God when it really go do down ya’ll gonna be right there with me.
