Meet Too Fre$h, a 21 year old up and coming rapper out of the Bay Area, where there are such rap legends sprouted like Tupac Shakur, E40, Too Short, and now we got Too Fresh!!! Were gonna talk to the new free agent, who is currently making waves, so were the first big outlet to get the chance to catch up with him!!!
24HHH – Where were you raised? How did you come up with your stage name?
I was raised in Fremont but I currently reside in the East Bay. N my name simply represents my style n my approach to the industry. I feel you need to be different to make it in this game. There’s too much of the same kinda music, and it’s getting old. People want something new, something fresh… TooFre$h.
24HHH -When did you start making music? When did you realize rapping was more than just a hobby?
I started writing lyrics at age 13 and found in high school that it was more than just a hobby to me. People would continually tell me that my music inspired them to start rappin. After a few years of practice, I recognized my passion and a talent for making music and creatively expressing myself to others. This is when I knew I wanted to pursue it n wouldn’t rest until I felt accomplished as an artist.
24HHH -You working with anyone?
Currently I’m not working with any artists outside my team, however, I got a few projects in the works. Such as a video dropping in a few weeks. I am starting to work with a new producer, and soon after, I expect to be droppin a new track a few weeks after the video debut release. I got a lot in the works, and will be releasing a lot more within the next 8 months so keep lookin out for TooFre$h
24HHH – Any recent travels?
Yes I just recently came back from Vegas where I filmed the video to my latest hit single “All I Know” the exclusive release for the video will be provided to members on my mailing list only. As far as travel plans, I would like to travel the world. Whether it’s on tour doin shows or simply just traveling on vacation.
24HHH – Are you pushing any new singles?
My new single as I said before is “All I Know” and it really has a deep subliminal meaning. It’s a testament to my own personal life, puttin it on the record raw and real cuz it’s what I do, what I believe in… It’s “All I Know”. It was produced by K-Dub out of LA. 24HHH – Any new features or collabs your set on?
Not at this point. As of now I’m focusing on my craft, buildin my fanbase, and my website! I look most forward to working with the artists I plan on having on my tape cause I know their dope and I know we gonna make some timeless music working together. But in the future I look forward to working with artists like TI, Rick Ross, Future, Stephie Lecor, and maybe some PBMG artists.
24HHH – What are you musical influences?
My musical influences are Pac, Biggie, Kendrick Lamar, TI, Rick Ross, n Wayne. N currently I don’t typically listen to many artists I’m more focused on my own career n gettin to where I’m tryna b.
