Within the heart of Miami, one such artist has the talents of both producer and rapper. From lyrics to production, Wally has his craft on lock. His first single is literally out of this world. The production on it has a club vibe as well a space vibe all compiled into one interesting track. The single is entitled ‘Alien’ and it sounds out of this world, based on the hook, it’s quite catchy. As a matter of fact, his talent was even noticed by infamous CP of Luv is Luv Management, he later signed to Luv is Luv making him official. This is an exclusive interview with the one and only Wally that you will only read here on 24hourhiphop.com.

24: First and foremost how is everything with Wally formally of the group Fly Onez?

Wally: I’m doing ok, just working in the studio trying to come up with new things and different ideas.

24: Describe the history behind the infamous Wally.

Wally: The history behind me, the main thing that did it for me to take music seriously was Paul Hardcastles rainforest song, that’s when I really started getting more into music.

24:You are signed to Luv is Luv management, how did that come about?

Wally: Well, I met CP through a former art director for Miskeen clothing and he would take the clothes to CP’s store and that’s how I met CP.

24: Let’s get into your music, not only are you an artist, you’re also a producer. Describe to us your process on making that hit song.

Wally: First I start with a concept because without one you end up sounding like everyone else. You want to make something that’s original that no one’s has ever heard before and you have to make sure that it sounds professional so when you present it people appreciate it more.

24: Speaking of hits, describe the making of the uptempo track ‘Alien?’

Wally: When I did ‘Alien’ I was basically inspired by the fact of me being so different from the every other local artist coming out of Miami. I was an Alien and I just came up with some sick rhymes and a sick beat and a sick hook.

24: Have you decided on a follow up to compliment ‘Alien’ yet?

Wally: It’s kind of up in the air now, but I’m really thinking of another song to put out called ‘Disappear.’

24:Not to put you on the spot, what would you say sets you aside from the other upcoming artists trying to make it in the game?

Wally: That I don’t just concentrate on one angle of music, I see music as a whole.

24: If the fans wanted to contact you listen to your music or get to know you a little better, how could they go about doing so?

Wally: They can hit me up on myspace.com/wallyofficial

24: Thank you for providing 24hourhiphop.com with this exclusive interview, do you have any last words for your current of future fans? Shout outs?

Wally: I want to shout out 24hourhiphop and every local artist trying to make it and not to get discouraged, keep moving and everybody out there who enjoys real wholesome music.
