24hourhiphop.com sits down with local Miami rapper Willy Black. He talks about his new music, what he has planned for 2014, what inspired him to get in the music business and much more. Check out the interview below and let us know what you think!

24HHH: Introduce yourself to everyone that doesn’t already know who you are?

Willy Black: Willy Black, WB, Black, street Nigga, artist, hustler, entrepanure… A real ass nigga.

24HHH: Before we get into your music, can you describe your history about how you got into and what inspired you?

Willy Black: The Money The flashy lifestyle inspired me to make music. I see an avenue I will be able to make moves
in to obtain a better life cars, jewelry.. And a way to provide for my family and my kids, they need me. The
music  i  make  itself  inspires  me,  its  the  money  that  motivates  me  everyday  and  drives  me  to  make  this
music. I embraced the streets at an early age and before i knew it the streets embraced me back. I get the
same love from fans because of this music i make.

24HHH: What was the hip hop scene like for you growing up where your from?

Willy Black: Uncle Luke, Big Mike, MJG, Goodie Mob, Poison Clan.. Every friday wherever the hottest djs would have
their jams I was there. Before the hustles before the money, before the street shit. Dj Uncle AL , Sugar hill
djs, Whenever they did something in the city I was there.

24HHH: What makes you Unique as a artist and different from other rappers out now?

Willy Black: I really live the street shit that gangsta rap, hip hop is all about. Im not making some water down shit, or a real niggas story threw my words Im making MY STORY thru MY WORDS…a real Nigga. Im giving my life and as real as I can give it. Im dat nigga.

24HHH: Tell us more about what you are working on?

Willy Black: I  am  working  on  music,  My  2nd  mix  tape  the  follow  up  to    I  Am  Willy  Black,.  Working  with  different producers in Miami… Networking to find producers. Im trying to fuck with every hard working hot producer
out there. My team Redd City Music Group and I are focused on taking over Miami. Getting the streets to
hear my music so they fuck with it… Im giving that real shit, Street shit, My story…I need the love from my
home city, I show love to Miami streets and hoods everywhere. thats where my roots are. My Music is a
reflection of that.

24HHH: What producers have you worked with and who would you like to work with in the future?

Willy Black: J smooth: (BallGreezy, Fat Joe) Inkredable: (Blood Raw, Desloc Picallo), D Roc( Cash Money Ymcmb), David Petit( Taz, BallGreezy)..Just to name a few hot producers in Miami… Im trying to get with all hot producers though… Gorilla Tek, who did Ballgreezy shone, Jackie O, Grind Mode, Iconz …He made A few hit records out of Miami and he’s from my home city, Miami.

24HHH: Are you happy with the feedback you have been getting from people on material you have released?

Willy Black: Hell yeah Im happy. The streets Love me… they beginning to recognize a real nigga. The streets the
hoods know they want be represented by a real nigga… the Voice, Im dat Nigga. We need more real niggas
out here.

24HHH: In todays free download age, what do you need to do to make your self a household name?

Willy Black: Keep it 100 with everything I do. stay real. Give every fan the streets, the hustle that you have to go thru,
that you have to put up with, what a real nigga lives. If I had one word to describe it would be DELIVER.

24HHH: How do you feel about the current state of the hiphop scene?

Willy Black: Im loving it. real niggas are coming out. Its back to the realness and true essence of rap and hip hop.
Meek Mill, Kendrick, J Cole, Wale.. Its not leaving room for that candy rap. Its go hard or kill yourself.

24HHH: Outside of the music what else are you currently working on?

Willy Black: I am working on a Movie script I was offered. I don’t know what direction it will go but thats on the table.
Im just working on being a better me. My hustle, this street shit never stops. Im working on getting booked
for shows features other than Music and stay hustling I don’t have time for anything else. I can’t sleep til I
make it.

24HHH: Where do you see yourself going in 2014 and how do you plan to separate yourself from the other artist out today to get the recognition you feel you deserve?

Willy Black: I see my self Entertaining my music taking me places I’ve never been cities con tries hoods all over the
world. The streets are the same everywhere. Im trying to let every real nigga know Im out here for us. I will
get into movies. I want put myself in a position to help my community and get a chance to give the kids and
americas youth a voice. I want the world to know what i know. I want to make a difference.
