In a Game 5 thriller the Dallas Mavericks beat the Miami Heats 112-103 and now take 3-2 series lead back to Miami. Lead by their leader Dirk Nowitzki 29 points and 6 rebounds, Jason Terry also played a huge role in Dallas victory last night with a key 21 points. 9 of Jason Terry points was made in the 4th Quarter when Dallas needed him most. This win for Dallas was an all out team win with great help from Chandler, J.J. Barea and Jason Kidd as well. Dwayne Wade finished with 23 points after coming back from his injury as Lebron James continued to struggle to play like a “Super Star” and played more like a “Point Guard” for the Heats in route to having a triple-double game with 17 points, 10 Rebounds and 10 Assist(But only 2 points in the 4th Quarter). But the Heat lacked the leadership and scoring in the closing minutes of the game that Lebron James showed in previous series against the Celtics and Bulls. So far in the finals no team was able to win two back to back games until now. Not to mention Dallas 9 point win is the highest scoring margin by either team so far. Dallas win have to chances to win their first NBA Championship in Game 6 and Game 7 down in Miami as well as the Heats having to win Game 6 to stay alive and prepare for a Game 7 where it’s anyone’s game. Game 6 will be Sunday night at 8pm on ABC where the Heats are 9-1 at home in the Playoffs.
