In a very interesting and exciting series, the New York Knicks almost shocked the Celtics with a victory once again and take home court advantage away from Boston once again but it was Kevin Garnett game winning basket late in the 4th quarter and defensive play against Jared Jeffries that sealed the game for Boston 96-93. The Knicks played good in absence of Stoudamire behind Carmelo Anthony 42 points after All-Star Forward Amerie Stoudamire went down in the first quarter of Game 2 due to back pains. For Boston, point Guard Rondo lead the team in scoring in Game 2 which helped them to a 2-0 series lead against the Knicks. The Magics took care of business at home against the Hawks 88-82. But even though the Magics won tonight the Hawks has even out home court advantage and turn this series in their favor once they win both home games in Game 3 & 4. Magics Center took home the 2011 Defensive Player of the Year Award for the 3rd straight year as well. An in a series which many felt would be close the Mavericks seem to have a hold on the Blazers as they took a 101-89 Game 2 victory easily. Tonight Will be a few Western Conference games with the Thunder taking in the Nuggets at 8pm on TNT as well as the Grizzles who shocked the Spurs with a Game 1 playing on NBA TV at 8:30pm.
