With four games on hand for this 2011 Easter Sunday the Sixers held off the Heats 86-82 at home and force a Game 5 in Miami and avoided being swept lead by Iguodala with 16 points and Elton Brand who dropped in a solid 15 points, despite a game high 31 points from Lebron James. At the end of the 4th Quarter the sixes played great team defense and hit key shots to hold on for their first victory of the series after Lebron James missed what could of been the game winner(Next Game on Wednesday on TNT but the games time is still TBD). Back at home and trying to not be the only team in the NBA 2011 Playoffs to get swept in the first round the Knicks failed to play with the same fire as they did in Game 1 and Game 2 which they lost but played with pride & heart which made this series a great one expect for Game 3. The Knicks just didn’t have enough energy or belief to truly beat the Celtics and losses Game 4 101-89. In another great series in the Eastern Conference the Magics faced off against the Hawks down in Atlanta and once again the Hawks prevailed to a 88-85 victory(Next Game Tuesday &:30pm on NBATV). Starting to shape back into championship form after a horrible effort in Game 1. The Lakers Ron Artest played outstanding as well as Kobe in the second half but it just wasn’t enough to hold off the Hornets on this night in a 93-88 lost. The Lakers should definitely use their length of their front line so they can take full advantage of their mismatches. 2-2 series tie which heads back to LA for a Game 5 on Tuesday at 10:30Pm on TNT.
