Last night in the NBA the Magics got back into their series against the Hawks with a 101-76 victory. In this win the series is now 3-2 and the Magics only needs one more win to tie it all up, but I’m sure the Hawks like their chances to just win in Game 6 and finish the Magics season back in Atlanta. Game 6 will be this Thursday at 7:30 pm. An speaking of ending a series, the Bulls finished off the Pacers 116-89 even though the Pacers actually played the Bulls which finished #1 in the entire NBA very good for an #8 seed. The biggest game of the night was Hornets vs Lakers in LA for Game 5 in a tied up series where Shooting Guard Kobe Bryant was a game time decision. Kobe ended up starting as usual but started off with a slow start in the first quarter which he made no attempts at the basket as the Hornets went on a run lead by Trevor Ariza and seemed to be on the way to another victory in LA like Game 1. But in the 2nd Quarter Kobe came back into the game and showed signs of greatness. At halftime the score remained close and Game 5 at that point was anyone’s game to win but in the 2nd Half the Lakers defense tightened up and players such as Artest, Bynum, Fisher and Kobe Bryant pushed the Lakers to a 106-90 victory at home. Game 6 between these two teams will be on Thursday at 8:00 pm on TNT. Tonights game will be Sixers vs Heats in Game 5 at 7:00 pm on TNT. Followed by the Grizzles trying to knock off the #1 Western Conference Seed Spurs and shock the world at 8:30 over on NBA TV and the Nuggets vs Thunder at 9:30pm on TNT.
