Former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick was released from federal prison today after spending 23 months behind bars for funding and being apart of an illegal underground dog fighting ring. Michael Vick will finish the remainder of his sentence at his home in Virginia and will be confined to his home under high supervision for 60 days and then be on probation for 3 more years.

Vick has not thrown a pass since his last game back in 2006. A spokesperson said “Vick is very much interested in the NFL and will begin working out with a Quarterback coach and begin getting himself conditioned for a possible return in the 2009 season”. The question is will Vick be able to adjust to the changes the NFL has gone through in these last few years?

Vick was a talented Quarterback who made his name by running pass defenders and sneaking out of the pocket. Which brings to my mind the Wild Cat formation the Miami Dolphins created and made popular in 08? Does Mike Vick fit in the Miami Dolphins lineup? What team will Mike Vick end up on?

Regardless the outcome or what team he ends up with Michael Vick was an extraordinary athlete a 3 time pro bowler and a playoff winner. Where ever he lands I guarantee you he you will make an impact and go back to his talented ways. Training camps for NFL teams open in July we’ll just have to wait and see where Vick will end up and how his career and life will playout on and off the field.
