It’s finally over Carmelo Anthony is now a New York Knick! With rumors and speculations all season about Carmelo going to teams such as the Knicks, Bulls, Lakers and Nets Forward Carmelo Anthony and Guards Chauncey Billups and Anthony Carter as well as center Shelden Williams and forward Renaldo Balkman will go to the Knicks. The Denver Nuggets will get the Knicks Guard Raymond Felton, Forwards Danilo Gallinari and Wilson Chandler as well as Center Timofey Mozgov. Not to mention a first-round pick in 2014 and second-round picks in 2012 and 2013 that was originally acquired from Golden State, along with $3 million in cash. In a separate deal, the Knicks will send unused center Eddy Curry’s expiring contract, along with forward Anthony Randolph and another $3 million, to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Forward Corey Brewer. So yes the Knicks pretty much gave away their entire team except Stoudemire and Fields for Carmelo but how could they pass up on a NBA Top 5 Player and take the risk at not getting him at the end of the season.
